You have not even had byes yet....that is when it gets challenging. All the stand alone windows takes away from the 1PM/4PM selection. I bet they could balance the amount of the 1PM/4PM games to have a better selection at 4PM. I know many wont like that but they are not going to end Thursday games or Overseas games.

While I loved this play, its overall affect on the game was minimal...it was first and 10, he would have had 5 yards but he trucked the guy to get a first down...no evidence they would not convert 2nd and 5. Its a nice posterizing of a stankfish player which is always welcome though.....also, the reply showed he was short of the first down but McDaniel did not challenge which was a good decision.

No way he gets extended now, I agree. In fact it may be more likely we have seen the last of him in Buffalo....I dont want that at all but it is a brutal business in that way.

The Bills have a couple million in cap now...they likely will need to create more before the season is done. I wonder if the Bills were possibly having talks with Tre on an extension that could have saved money this year and next. It seemed like he was getting back to his self.

Is there any history of CB's with Achilles repairs? I cannot think of any but it seems like Achilles is pretty important for a CB....as compared to say QB.

I think they may just activate Von when they put Tre on IR for now....and wait for other potential injuries on the DL to make that move....its not like they will be down a CB on gameday, Elam will now get a jersey.

They have Kyran Brown and Jamarcus Ingram on the PS....like you said Elam will now dress. I dont think they have to panic and find some veteran...they like Bendford, we know what Dane Jackson can do, Elam graded well when he played last year...they are deep there. I think it is possible for Tre to IR, Von Miller to the 53 for now. They have practice squad call ups available too if they need that.

Phillips is a nice piece when he is healthy...and he is, he has made some plays....I can do with or without Settle. I expected more out of Poona Ford based on the press he got when the Bills signed him...he has been a disappointment to not even play above Settle.

Josh is evolving. Taking the short stuff which has greatly increased his completion percentage. Also YAC is way up. Even though the turnovers are there when you look at the split from week 1 and 2-4 you see a big improvement. Also designed runs are pretty much gone other than the td today and qb sneaks. His rushing yards are way down but rb yards are way up. I see. Lot of reason to be optimistic.

BUT you cannot just cut an injured player. Probably will require an injury settlement.

Miami is a good team. The home field advantage really made a difference. It will be a long season but today was awesome.
