You really need to slowmo frame by frame to see if he has lost control in the image above. It was close though.....they never showed it, I rewound on the tv but could not slow it down to tell.

Uh, excuse me sir, the Bills offense has gone from bottom 5 to top 5 under his watch. And top 5 has been for three years which I would describe as consistent
-
You play the matchup. They invited the bills to run and frankly if they had stuck to it earlier the game would not have come down to the last play. SB25 was similar….take what they are giving you and when you finally make them adjust you can go the other way. The chiefs will run it like this when the game dictates that. Why is it ok for them but not the bills?
-
They dont call it over reaction Monday for nothing!
-
Tha offense is putrid up front......they did what they could, grind out the runs to limit the pass rush, take a few shots and make a few plays here and there to move the chains. He is limited but he gave them a chance to win by not making mistakes which is his best trait.

I would like him as a backup....but the Bills cannot afford him.

We were 6 weeks ago though.........

Why do we play bad against that teams
Matt_In_NH replied to Moulds 808080's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree, but if we only consider last night then the Bill always have this problem It's just recency bias and not liking how the game went. -
He looks so far like a guy who has practiced 2 weeks and is getting his legs under him. Patience.....we need him down the stretch, I think he will get there.

Dabol will be back....................

Yes it was PI, I have not heard anyone really disagree except the rules guy in the booth.

Expectations of perfection are hampering this team.
Matt_In_NH replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are unrealistic expectations that this team should always dominate an inferior opponent. When we had Tyrod we would play the pats and a game similar to last night would unfold in the end we lost. Teams make good game plans. The giants wanted to play for dabol last night they wanted to play for Tyrod. They wanted to play for their season and in the end a lot went the way they hoped it would…..two to zero turnovers, punts, missed fgs. and yet the bills still won. -
They should not be the team that signs him to a big second contract. That would be a terrible decision.

Suggestions on how to address the Bills sudden offensive struggles?
Matt_In_NH replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
People have forgotten how much the Bills offense struggled with Dabol in his last year....it took all year to get it figured out. All people do remember is the 2 playoff games when they were clicking at full speed. 16, 6, 15, 10 were all scores the Bills had that year. The way they got out of it was Allen running. I think this team is committed to not doing that. I really think last night was lack of execution. The fumble and INT in the first half were killers. They scored on their first two drives in the second half and had the game iced but they failed to execute again. I really think this team, this offense is evolving and that does not come without challenges. They will be better for it later in the season IMO. -
Lets see if the Bills can beat him with WIlson next time.

The biggest blunder of the game IMO

So it was not shotgun draw from the half yard line? -
all things revert to the mean

I definitively think it is affected by the QB. And even on a given team, maybe a QA throws away to one guy more than others....not really sure I agree but I agree its possible. Your example of Gronk is interested but he did not just get a lions share of throwaways, he also got lots of targets. I don't think there is a public database that tracks what is being discussed, I could be wrong but I don't know of one. But stats in general all "depends on the team". What would Marvin Harrison have done if he were drafted by the Bills and played with the rotating QB's? This does not work.....diggs drops the ball and fumbles. Drop rate I would agree with, Davis does not have a history of costly fumbles. But a "Number 2" implies he has some warts that prevents him from being a "Number 1". What people want is 2 number ones....that is not a bad thing but lets just be honest that is what is really desired. I would like to see Kincaid get opportunities down the field.

I think the answer is the fans want two wr1s. There is a fascination with wrs. Not saying it’s not important and more talent would not be better but let’s use the guys we have is my thought. It’s not funny …with enough samples that is a non factor.

Tonight is a reminder you can lose to them. Can’t turn it over and make other silly mistakes.

This is familiar

Such a Tyrod game. Remember Monday va Seattle and the Jacksonville playoff game?
-
