I don't agree. Yes he was a great player but that does not make him a great coach. He is a defensive coach and I dont think he is good at that, the Bills put up like 48 last year on them. The Steelers had 4 TD passes from Rodgers.....I dont doubt the team is excited to start anew but give it time, the Jets will be the Jets in the end. I do think Fields has a chance to be good.

You can get a good idea where they are with the sites that track things. The bills are up there in terms of pushing money forward. But the eagles have gone beyond that with their excessive use of void money. Lots of teams are doing void years including the bills but I don’t think they are being irresponsible, lots on this board want them to go nuts with it. Have they resigned too many mid type players? I think you can make that argument. But they are putting a winner out there year in and year out. And they can continue for joshes career so they are doing the right thing IMO

Complaining? Want to go back to cash to cap policy we had under Wilson?

Running g backs have shorter careers than wrs. Teams use analytics in many ways including to decide who to pay and who not to pay based on data. Can pay for different positions get out of whack? Yes I think so with the one upmanship of contracts there are more opportunities for WRs to get paid because there are more of them. Each one bumps the market. You would think rarity should be valuable but not always.

I acknowledged his playoff success. However at the end of the day champions are graded on championships. People will say what they say until the bills get it done. That is the one and only way to shut them up.

Ok. Understand your position. But realize people will use similar logic to always put Mahomes above Josh regarding playoffs and clutchness. 0-4 vs chiefs is historic. While I think it is not correct and I know you do too regarding josh he has had the ball at the end of the last two playoff games needing to score and has gotten 0. That is what gets remembered. Josh can process better….i think I agree but Lamar has come a long way and when you look at numbers he is outstanding in terms of td% int%, both above josh. I like Josh better but it is not crazy for people to pick Lamar for something like a top 100. Also not crazy to pick Josh over Lamar. Lamar has been bad in the playoffs with turnovers and does not get dinged for it. While Josh had turnover issues in the regular season and is historically good in the playoffs yet people still use that narrative.

What is your reasoning for saying that?

I know what you are saying but they did also convert one. Barely

If he is healthy he is a great player. And he is not quite as weird as Charles Hayley. -
Yes I believe it to be true, all teams have injuries. Pulling Kline from vacation was an exceptional case, so I will acknowledge that. However the original post I quoted was saying "this one time" it came across as injuries all the time. All teams have injuries they deal with, you don't remember the teams that overcome them. Even in the Kline game, if Dawkins holds his block the Bills go up by 4 late in the 4th or at a minimum if our kicker can hit a 40 yarder the game is tied. Great teams make the plays that matter down the stretch, that to me is what this team lacks. They don't have the killer instinct in the critical playoff games. Injuries are just an excuse in my opinion.

Aame is true for teams that get it done. No one remembers their injuries either.
