11/19/23 Week #11 GAMEDAY Bills vs Jets Pregame Thread
Matt_In_NH replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why do you want to see him so bad? Are the guys plying RB not getting it done? -
Nah the only possible way to win is more WR weapons. I know that’s a fact cause I read it here all the time.

McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
Matt_In_NH replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
The latest locked on bills resonates with me 1. McDermotts future is questionable 2. Josh is not himself and he lists some possible reasons why. It all lines up with where I am. Josh’s body language is off. And some of his comments on podcasts about his off-season work is at least eyebrow raising. Marinos words were something like he is being out worked by his competition. -
Is a future move to Safety possible for Tre White??
Matt_In_NH replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
He does not have the physicality to play safety. He will no longer be a Bill. -
Does Allen hold some accountability for personnel decisions?
Matt_In_NH replied to Johnnyp566's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Beane and McDemott are offering g poor contracts to appease Allen who should be held responsible for that? Hint it’s not Allen. -
This is not a Bills fan thing, its an NFL thing. Pat Kirwan keeps count of how many coaches have been fired in the AFC East since BB has been coaching, the number is well into the 20's.

Sal is a homer and I see where some people are coming from on their opinions here. He does defend the Bills more than others. However, the other WGR personalities in the morning are worse in my opinion. I have heard arguments such as the Bills should pass every down because you gain more yards on average with a pass than a run and "defense does not matter"...in fact "defense shmefense" is the phrase that comes out all the time. They do seem up on some of the analytics and detailed stats but they put too much weight on those things. By nature of being a fan, there are just a lot of hot takes, most of which are ridiculous callers want to talk about. I like Joe Marino if you want a more subjective with a Bills slant opinion. He is not always right either but he tries to put his fanhood aside and use the total picture vs just a hot take based on one play or whatever.

I would argue that is how several interceptions have happened to Josh with balls bouncing off guys hands. People want to make a blanket statement ball goes off your hands you should have caught it. I think there is room for he that ball had too much heat on it. If you watch the drops by Gabe and Kincaid vs the Broncos, both receivers were both still getting their hands raised to catch the ball. I am not sure where to draw the line, was it the throw or was it the receiver dropping the ball. I don't see much push on the heaters where I think it should sometimes.

Does anyone think a quarterback can throw the ball too fast on some routes?

Don't agree, Brady, Allen and Dorsey have worked on gameplans all year. This week Brady and Allen can do it without Dorsey without starting from ground zero.

I have seen Stef be a leader this year trying to rally the troops when things are not going well. I don't necessarily love his style sometimes but I dont think it hurts to have an emotional guy on a team seems solely motivated on winning.

Offense for Kindergarten

I know he was terrible in the Pats game but I think he just has to hone his skills, he should be a decent player. Bernard needed a year and he sure popped.

Jim Kelly for QB coach, Fitz for Offensive quality control, Bruce for DL coach, Andre for WR coach....Tasker for special teams coordinator

Do you think the Bills brass and coaches read this forum ??

They did not lose Dabol because he hated him. Maybe he does but they lost him because Dabol got a 500% increase in pay with years guaranteed.
