  1. My posts above expected is top 5
  2. Yeah I did not mention Hyde because his contract is up. We agree they need to reset at safety.
  3. I think a cap reset of sorts is needed and the Bills need an infusion of young/cheap players. I don't think Dawkins and Morse get cut. I think Dawkins is an extension candidate and Morse could be as well. White is an easy cut unless he is still injured, not sure how that will paly out. I would also move on from Poyer Harty and Hines, they just need to cut bait with some of these guys. Also, no way they cut Taron. Dion Dawkins, Tre White, Taron Johnson, Mitch Morse, Jordan Poyer, Deonte Harty, and Nyheim Hines
  4. The OP here has a far superior and subjective view on this than the "I only care about INT's unless total touchdowns make my store better then total touchdowns can be discussed but under no circumstances are fumbles lost allowed to be discussed" thread. I think it is fair to take Josh's first two years out because he made such a dramatic change and has maintained that since.
  5. Just look 35 yards behind the LOS!
  6. IMO the injuries are blown out of proportion and are more an excuse than anything. The late game ability of seemingly any offense to go through this defense like butter is a big problem. Daquan Jones has been mostly replaced by Linval Joseph. Jones is better but Joseph fills the gap way better than Poona ford Tre White has been replaced by Rasul Douglass, this might be an upgrade. Milano is a tremendous loss but a SuperBowl caliber team should be able to overcome the loss of their top LB.
  7. I have seen multiple “experts” view it both ways. Not sure who is right but Davis’s helmut slam might indicate who he thought was responsible.
  8. How abou the Baltimore game last year when the bills were down 17 and expertly used every second before kicking the winning fg. I think there was some great game management in that game.
  9. Dude the post is from 2021. It was true and it happened.
  10. Not trying to be argumentative but his worst INT% was as a rookie which was Dabol I think. And no way you can tell anything about Brady in two games, there is a lack of samples. I hope like heck he can have some 0 INT games down the stretch. I don't think it is appropriate to just blame Dorsey for the INT's. Many have been bad decisions made by Josh, IMO people have blinders on when it ever comes to criticizing Josh. He can be both the great player that we love and someone who can commit less turnovers. Does a fumble lost count the same as an INT then? Also, you cannot put people like Montana and Marino in this conversation without adjusting for their era. QB's have gotten way more efficient across the board, Allen should be compared to Mahomes, Jackson, Herbert, Rodgers and others playing today
  11. I make this argument all the time but people dont want to hear it. However his INT% is going up not down. This year his INT rate is up to 3.0% which is too high. In 2020 it was 1.7% which should be close to his target.
  12. Ball was not tucked though, he was in the process of tucking when the ball came loose. Bolded/underlined below is from the rule, time is part of the rule. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-video-rulebook/completing-a-catch/ COMPLETED OR INTERCEPTED PASS A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) in the field of play, at the sideline, or in the end zone if a player, who is inbounds: a. secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and b. touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and c. after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, performs any act common to the game (e.g., tuck the ball away, extend it forward, take an additional step, turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.
  13. Unless/until the Bills decide they need him yes. He is effectively stashed. Dont think there is any value to taking him off IR unless injuries occur.
  14. The title of this thread is such a loser mentality.
  15. Just going to put another opinion out there. The amount of hatred and name calling being directed at McDermott is embarrassing to see our fanbase be a part of. We all are upset at where the team is this year, we all are upset they did not give Josh a chance with 20 seconds and burned a timeout foolishly. However, McDermott is the guy that turned this franchise around, maybe he is not the guy to bring a SB to Buffalo but right now we should be supporting this team the rest of the season. So while you may not like him as the coach of the future but he deserves respect from our fanbase. Nothing he has done good or bad is with bad intentions. And there is no coach alive that will survive the wrath of this fanbase's Monday morning coaching after a loss. Sometimes a decision is made and you get criticized no matter what if the result is not positive. Again, I think he deserves severe criticism for 20 seconds and 13 seconds but I also think there is an obscene amount of piling on happening. Nothing is going to happen between now and the end of the year with McDermott so I think it is fair to judge him in the offseason once we see the final result of this year. It is not over, this team is talented enough to win the last 5 games, we should support them in that effort.
  16. I think you are taking what you heard too literal. Did he also not say something about element of time?
  17. The ruling in the Bills Eagles game was a fumble. The difference is the chargers receiver tucked the ball and moved forward before fumbling. Brown was just completing the tuck when it came out. They are different in my eyes I must have listened to a a different broadcast. A third step is one of the things that would make it a catch that did not happen. He was not saying he has to see a third step or else its not a catch
  18. I agree you have Diggs and Kincaid and need to add to that. A wr is possible in the first. Lots of other holes you have to consider too. Poyer is another cut possibility.
  19. Floyd has a big void amount for next year that can be spread out if they resign him. Plus he is the better player.
  20. I never cheered for them to lose even during the drought.
  21. Not sure I agree that we would be better off but I wonder (total speculation on my part here) if Dabol made a play for that job when he was getting hired by the Giants. They had friction but that cold handshake showed there is some serious issues between those two.
  22. Once again the morning clown show talking about how the Bills only need to pass the ball.
