Refs are overly involved by design. Rules are left ambiguous by design. It's not a coincidence how many primetime games end up being decided by last second field goals or go into OT. The NFL classifies itself as an entertainment entity, the same as the WWE does. The refs are doing what the leagues wants the refs to do which is to manage the games. The Chiefs / Bills would have been a blowout by the middle of the 2nd quarter had the refs not managed it. Anybody deluding themselves into thinking any of this is isn't by design is a fool.

now you've stepped in it pigpen65 That's quite a statement I cringed that was my honest reaction  **cringe****

  2. meh I dunno. A possible fine paid b y whom? If it were paid by the NFL to have their referees bac k then Fine I'd agree with that. But the human error and bias issues aside I think they earn their money and to lose from their check based on arbitrary opinion..? Whose opinion..? **stir that can of worms pot**

as if the NFL would agree to that HA!

    lol

Possibly the most touching part of her late stage dementia abilities was the song she most often chose. She would play Autumn Leaves which is a very complicated piece. The professional pianist at the funeral had several days to work on it, and by all accounts it was a botched attempt (not that I would know), albeit by a nice and well intentioned guy they knew who had a few days to work on it.

It was an important piece to her because it was the song that was playing when her husband of 60+ years proposed to her. It seems to have been a “Rosebud” moment.

We cannot begin to comprehend the human mind.

she likes the tailgate party aspect of football but the game itself meh notso much haha...can u imagine MY daughter isn't a Bills fan?

I told her last night regarding this thread and she smiled and said Thank you mama 🙂

    Thank you Augie for writing

And with all the talk of the adults wondering if they were possibly not diagnosed as a child it's possible

But the real strong clues of autism like the original poster said are nonverbal cues... There's a lot of people who are socially awkward but not on the spectrum

But If you didn't speak till you were five , that's a strong clue that you're probably on the spectrum

back in the late 80's the diagnosis was not so clearly defined as it is now they used to call it "pervasive developmental disorder" an umbrella term for on the spectrum. She was "diagnosed" at age 3 and she was mainstreamed and attended special ed classes her entire primary school. Then with tutors and some testing accomodations she was able to graduate with a BS in vocal performance from boston conservatory.

The show you are viewing we pray ultimately can/will go  National. I mean if freakin real housewife louann deliseps can do cabaret you bet katrina could do her disney show and people would be blown away. She is an actress and singer and being on the spectrum and able to be so vocal about it is pretty illuminating into her mindset being ON the spectrum. People who love disney and have had some connection to autism really appreciate her voice.

  7. okay here's my take. If any said trainer could bottle and market a "Josh Allen" formula..who wouldn't want to buy it! HA

except #17 is so much more than some coaches dream formula incarnate....dude has the physical tools you just cannot coach (size and arm strength) with a brain and commitment to excellence that will not be denied.

Yeah bottle that ***** up who wouldnt want THAT....."Momma please let my baby grow up to be Josh Allen"

My guess is that it does not mean he's assessing how he's throwing the ball during a game, but that he's putting in extra throwing work on his own beyond the game plan install and the practice against the scout team looks.

so just to clarify...a post linking an article of course. But Nothing from the article can show? I sometimes can copy paste and other times the content itself wont allow it. But the visuals within this piece were super cool thats why I kind of asked...:)

There is something nice about being a fan of a losing team. The communal suffering and commiseration. When your team starts winning its like your favorite little band blowing up on one hand its great but there is something lost.

That being said how do you feel about the sabres lately and how fun was monday night?

The better you are the bigger the bandwagon and the louder the obnoxious fans get just the nature of the beast.

hey there. communal suffering is so yesterday I cant stress enough how much we and the fanbase of our Buffalo Bills don't really miss 2-14, 4-12 seasons. IMO The thing lost is a lot of grief headaches and yes even hangovers....lol. y'all know what I mean I think

your last comment about obnoxious and Rude fans increasing with bandwagoners yep. except not here... the 2BD  brethren can smell a poser its not that hard but yeah if they jump on and never leave fandom *cheers** GO BILLS

    ever the optimist. haha

Awesome talent! I have a nephew who is somewhere on the spectrum. There have been a lot of ups and downs, but there is no questions he is amazingly gifted in many ways.

It’s funny how the mind works. We went to a funeral for my wife’s aunt a few weeks ago. She was about 90,  had suffered from dementia and had lost her husband a couple years earlier. You could easily argue it was a blessing. The amazing part was she couldn’t recognize her own sons or remember their names, but could still play very complicated music on the piano (her college major/early profession). My wife was a piano performance major her freshman year and was floored by what she could do despite not recognizing those who surrounded her.

Thank you @Muppy for sharing that beautiful experience.

I won’t pretend to know what our minds are capable of, and I try to leave judgement to others.

Im not crying YOU'RE Crying.............TYVM. To God be the glory.

I've always had an interest in Asperger's/Autism as I have a lot of traits with people with these diagnosis.  Per one thing I had/have selective mutism as a child and still deal with social anxiety on a daily basis.

It makes me wonder if the increase in diagnosis come as a result of vaccines and environmental factors.  Or has just diagnosis become so sophisticated over the years someone's "quirks" if you will has a label?

Or another way to think of it is it's just the next step in evolution

my daughter was nonverbal until age 5. Once she began to talk a lot of it was in her head and answers to direct questions didn't illicit an appropriate reply.  As she developed the interest in singing and especially youth theater and drama her focus WAS music and as the show tells it brought she out of her shell. Very high functioning genius (which by definition mean singular focus and excellence in one area) is how she has been described. Think about other famous people on the spectrum this phenomenon proves itself out. (elon musk, Neil Young, Albert Einstein) to name a few

Alternate brown and yellow unis would be lit! A bucking buffalo logo and helmet decal to go with it.

the san diego padres switch between their old school brown and mustard yellow to camo to blue and gray and white etc. Meh I dunno, having that drastic a color change for a uniform when it relates to just 1 player thats a bit much... maybe a commemorative helmet decal for a special game? I dunno.

I'm glad that Josh is attracting more people to be Buffalo Bills fans, but as a former Colorado State Ram, I have zero desire in making a connection between the Buffalo Bills and my main university rival. (Wyoming.)

When did we ever do this for another player or college?  Were we huge Miami fans when Jimbo was out QB?  Hell no.

Wyoming fans have always been Denver Bronco fans, because it's a Rocky Mountain regional thing.  I'm sure they'll root for Josh, but they're Bronco supporters, at their core.

Let's go Buffalo and Let's go CSU Rams!

I have it on great authority that the rivalry between Ft Collins and Laramie is legendary....The Rams right? I heard there was a game when Wyoming threw an actual real but dead severed head of a "ram" onto the field lol geez NASTY Much? smh but rivalry Yes Im aware.
