as a side note pertaining to fireworks in the state of California there are counties wherein they are illegal. San Diego is one such county. But folks can travel to San Bernardino or Ventura and they are available. Fireworks to me are like guns. You better deal with them responsibly or not at all..

It is a bit surprising to me that baseball doesn't get more discussion in OTW. There are a few staunch baseball guys who chat baseball in the Shout box. But this board clearly leans waaaay harder into football. But still *shrugs* I will follow MLB playoffs but the season is long and I only claim Padres because I live here. Not because of the sport. AS IF any of us need more reasons to despise miami.
