my suggestion is to Google search pictures of charcuteries plan how many people you are serving to buy sufficient quantity of items a standard basic one I make often includes basic healthy foods plus assorted crackers okay here goes from memory Buy cubed or slice your own cheese l use cheddars swiss muenster etc etc etc buy a boursin cheese or equivalent buy some cured meat sliced up like salami sliced and cut in cracker sized pieces, arrange on platter get at least 2 different good quality crackers of your choice. 2 varieties minimum buy some good quality fresh grapes either green red or both seedless buy some fresh berries for garnish color and nutrition fresh mozzarella balls buy a nice garlic hummus baby carrots I like to add some nuts on mine too mixed nuts you with somewhat of an artistic flair arrange and enjoy. easy peasy
