what I recall about #17 being drafted was his blazer had the lining emboldened with Wyoming Cowboy logos. I thought that was a cool fashion choice at the time he had that made custom clearly for the draft. Consensus was the pick was a high reward high Bust scenario from what I remembered. Most of my chat brethren at the time were super high on Mayfield as the consensus #1.
