I have had this thought for a while. Chips like this would be easy to implant into a football en masse. Im not worried about that aspect. But how to assure accuracy aka the sensor goes off when it should. When a ball crosses the plain, spotting the ball on the field for a first down? I mean I am not sure such a technology is a failsafe by any means. It doesn't factor when a player is down or not before the ball might indeed cross the plain.... Plus like augie said in a scrum it would be practically useless *shrugs* I think a lot of bugs would need tweaking but the idea is intriguing ...did it work in the USFL?

I had recently posted this to the comedy thread. This was such an iconic memorable character. Mr Sirico played it to perfection. RIP to he and Yes James Caan as well. He starred in a network TV show about Vegas. I enjoyed he there as well as the iconic Godfathers misfit son.

this is a fun summertime laid back waiting for football season thread. Being that I have 2 children that are both professionals in music (One rock the other cabaret) I have schmoozed with a lot of musicians and industry types at events and back stage. I'll post this because it is a cool vantage point, cool light show, and I was there. Cults were on tour with a band called "Foster the People" this was their big hit. Both bands traveled in full size touring busses including drivers and this was one US tour they traveled together. Mark Foster the lead singer was easy to talk to nice guy. The filmer of this youtube was Cults lead singer Madelines uncle. This was a hometown show there were a lot of family present that night.

you must really dislike Buffalo. Buffalo doesn't need me to defend it. You see what you see and the rest of us all will continue to see it through our rose colored glasses @-@ .

In the Bills history I remember also one former Bill who did NOT want to play in Buffalo. Circumvented it actually by playing in the USFL first. His name of course is Jim Kelly. Suffice it to say that Buffalo may not be the dream destination for players at first....................Until they actually DO come here. Then suddenly their attitude shifts and it becomes not only their NFL residence but Home. Im not saying that Von Miller will become a lifelong resident of WNY. But what I am saying is I'm not going to judge him for what he has Thought. I will judge him on what he Brings. He is OUR new piece to the puzzle. Remember when the Bills lacked an integral piece to the roster and signed a guy named James Lofton and what occurred? I think this guy may well be the current generations "James Lofton". well if we are going there Ive got a cool one from my kids high school. They went to the same high school here in socal as Adam Lambert. They shared theater/drama teachers. Which makes perfect sense that Adam Lambert was a theater kid. OH and this is not music but my daughter actually attended high school in choir and theater with Kelly Marie Trans (the Rose Tico Asian character in the Star Wars series.) I believe she was class of 2006. Back then she didnt use her middle name that was added later to her career

haha well here's my answer to the OP. Being a Bills fan is kind of like childbirth. We have been in the throes of labor for too long. SHOW ME THE BABY. Once you have given birth you forget all the pain leading up to it. NFL Championship or BUST No Fear BUCKLE UP!~!~!!!
