I have never lived in FL or been in a hurricane. The storm surge numbers combined with the amount of just rain the land has had means floods to me. It brought back memories from hurricane katrina in new Orleans. I don't know if damage estimates will be similar for this storm or worse. That is a scary thought. And just like Louisiana you can be sure a LOT of floridians will be forced to relocate out of state you would think right? what a mess.

devastating. I cant even imagine. I have relatives in orlando I need to check for that area. I know a couple who had planned to hunker down in tampa and Now Im worried about them too 😞

dude i cannot tell you just how many musicians I know in NYC whom have retail or restaurant server gigs to survive. Also the lack of health and insurance benefit begins to really suck. I know A few people who can survive on only their bands. But those folks arent anywhere near as big as name a Geddy Lee. HA. my son now has a day job with benefits and occasionally tours with bands still . But full time musician for he is in the past.

SMH I feel physically ill after reading the storm surge water above ground predictions. Tampa 4-6" and worse further south. I told hubby DANG 4-6 feet above ground? That place is fixing to become a swamp UGHH. Just think about that alone. Take 4-6" and measure that and then think of it coming right for your house or business. He said newscasters are saying this is the worst storm to ever hit Florida. And they have had some doozies in the past Blech.

except he has kids so I'll include Brady if for nothing else them 🙂
