Enter Sandman
And even though we ain't got money
I'm so in love with you, honey
And everything will bring a chain of love
And in the morning, when I rise
You bring a tear of joy to my eyes
And tell me everything is gonna be alright
I don't understand the bolded. I'm not trying to be difficult. Do you mean a 6h round draft pick (Araiza) was a fait accompli to make the final roster? Or by virtue of he being drafted by the Bills he had "made the team"
EDIT: okay I get it now. Thanks.
That lawyer is a scummy one. Very scummy. I wouldn't believe him if his tongue came notorized . SLEAZY
and me saying "make the team I meant final roster/practice squad
**sits back o enjoy Stanley Cup playoff hockey, a Very entertaining watch no matter what**
@Prospector I am a person who realizes I am not super knowledgeable where the NHL is concerned either. I have found that asking questions has helped and lets others know I am novice. It is humbling but overall it makes a poster appear more sincere and simply naive than seemingly trolling.

What Im taking from reading the last few pages is some posers have bought into the "Punt God" hype which was Matt Araiza.
Player critique is not my forte. So wether all the hype is warranted and valid seems open to debate. Not being the first punter chosen in his draft class is not very deity-like though
But Mr Araiza seems to have a lot of potential . But aren't NFL player draft choices all based on risk reward ratio? The Bills acted IMO in a way that was best for them in lieu of all the drama having him would entail. AT THAT TIME. And signed Martin to a multi year deal.
At this time Araizas professional football career is in limbo. I do not personally believe that false allegations will keep him from employment Forever. All the questions we have about how all of his will shake out will be answered once he is signed and asked to perform in a training camp just like any other rookie
That to me is the bottom line. All the rest is chatroom speculation and fodder.
I wish him the best moving forward. But remember there are NO guaranteed roster spots for any draft pick. He may not even made the team even without the faux scandal.
