I hope Mr Araiza was smart enough to keep himself in good physical shape so he can be up to snuff when his next opportunity arises. For Araiza. 🙂 Im not trying to make light of his debacle. I cannot imagine how horrible it must have been to be accused of such a crime and be indeed innocent. If the San Diego DA's office says he won' be charged to me that is vindication . What a traumatic event he went through. From Bills draft pick to released. That is a special kind of suck, nothing good about it. ZIPPO

I saw this thread was bumped. His comments will be heralded either way. I'm curious what he has to say. BUT Do I trust he to be 100% truthful? I will hear him out. And keep up on his career path moving forward. If I had allll his bank I'd retire. But that's just me. m @leh-nerd skin-erd sup homey. 🍸

I'm not surprised. For fans who have followed the Sabres closely and for many years they see familiar names on other peoples rosters as well as coaches. . I remember Lindy Ruff when he was Blond lol. I could never root against him at all 🙂

If you look into the distance, there's a house upon the hill Guiding like a lighthouse It's a place where you'll be safe to feel our grace 'Cause we've all made mistakes If you've lost your way I will leave the light on I will leave the light on I will leave the light on I will leave the light on

Some of them were dreamers And some of them were fools Who were making plans and thinking of the future With the energy of the innocent They were gathering the tools They would need to make their journey back to nature While the sand slipped through the opening And their hands reached for the golden ring With their hearts they turned to each other's hearts for refuge In the troubled years that came before the deluge

Song sung blue Everybody knows one Song sung blue Every garden grows one Me and you are subject to the blues now and then But when you take the blues and make a song You sing them out again Sing them out again

okay one last Jim Rome story only because I shared the earlier not a lamp post. Back then I followed the Bills as best I could. When JR first came out I thought he was radical kind of a unique and EXTREMELY Intelligent individual. And the ladies line meant I didn't have to wait to go on the air. They barely call screened you back then either. I called in several times and it was a mixed bag . You can either be exalted or verbally curb stomped by that guy depending on if you too had game and be able to quip and talk his lingo. I won a Hu-hu-hu-hu-GE call of the day AND got a t-shirt which had the word HUGE as the logo once 🙂 Now I watch his interviews and I will admit I respect him. I think he has grown Up. And from those humble beginnings went on to fame and fortune. I applaud him for that! His schtick wasnt what I appreciated about him. It was his intellect. I tried to look past the obnoxious overly Produced canned sound effects crap After he left the station here he fell off my radar #memorylane

I met Jim Rome before his show went national when he broke in radio on XTRA sports 690 here in san diego. He would host "world tour stops" and had one at a place called Moondoggies in La Jolla. Hubby was out of town on a business trip so I decided to make a day of taking the kiddos to the beach and then to the place for lunch. Not very many people were there. He saw me there with my kids so dropped by and slid into the booth with my 3 year old daughter. Me across from him with my son. She did NOT like the looks of him and appreciate he moving in to sit next to her. She proceeded to kick him and gave me her best klingon stare and he's like "whoaaaa take it easyyyyy".....Im like apologizing and he says "No it's allright, she's tough. I can respect that" LOL so I tell my friends that even my daughter could kick Jim Romes *** and she was only 3. true story. Circa 1990. His first daytime radio gig
