  1. Yeah, darlin' gonna make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once And explode into space Like a true nature's child We were born Born to be wild We can climb so high I never wanna die
  2. I am going to check out an LP to get this band full flavor. I do know this song from back in the day. I think they overplayed it on commerical FM radio I'd change the channel. we can't all like everything. Now you want to talk about a song I actually hate with a musical passion it is THIS: Did anyone really like this song? I googled it was from 1982 not 90's. Sorry. Carry on but my view of this song is the same.
  3. the thing is there are sooo many cool videos out there. If you like the song you will more than likely like the video. Robert Palmer................Addicted to Love 3. Paula Abdul..................Opposites attract 4. sharp Dressed Man ...ZZ Top 5. Peter Gabriel.............Sledgehammer

I read your OP about going to the show and winging it was exactly like something I would have done in my younger days. Time plus opportunity equaled a BRILLIANT result and story. Risk vs reward ratio was in your favor as you aptly decided and what a GREAT story I LOVED it. I attempted to see Black Sabbath once back in the day on the fly showed up without tickets and we came up Squat. As my luck has it now a days if we want to go to a show it may likely be someone we know performing. Either n a grand scale like MGMT or smaller with local homey buddies of my son. Either way going to rock shows for free RULES. Or if to show support for their music we pay for that reason.
  12. I just saw that she is headlining at Coachella this April. I'm sure that will be a great show. Her music is highly stylish as is she. Alas I won't be attending but there's aways youtube 🙂 m I had no idea that song was THAT popular and iconic. Now I will need to investigate POTUSA I know zilcho about that band.
  13. I Can turn the gray sky blue I can make it rain, whenever I want it to, oh I I can build a castle from a single grain of sand I can make a ship sail, on dry land tell 'em yeah But my life is incomplete and I'm so blue 'Cause I can't get next to you I can't get next to you, babe (next to you) I can't get next to you (I just can't get next you) I can't get next to you, babe I can't get next to you

  20. I love that 90's bands mean so many things to different people. What I was listening to mainly during the 90's was Disney and other VHS videos. Sesame Street and Classic Rock radio stations on my FM dial while running carpools to soccer practice and cub scout meetings. It wasnt until they got older and sounds began coming from their bedrooms...the one classical and Broadway the other punk rock and grunge. My own interests broadened in those areas. As it would happen both my kids ended up at one point or another being professional musicians. Son in an indie rock band. My daughter opera and now cabaret. She has a show upcoming 3/28 here in san diego.. "Part of your World" which chronicles her musical path while being on the autitism spectrum www.KatrinaAguilarMusic.com

!!!!!! WTAF. Logic you are my HERO LMAO snuck into the Springsteen show? Got to see it in the freakin floor seats for free.. I hate you so hard 😜.......but man Im giving that some serious PROPS. Save that money for a trip back to WNY ✔️ BOOM. hahahaaa m
  22. These above 2 clips were first time listens for me. I am a fan of the blues genre so Buddy Guy was right in my wheelhouse. The Dire Straits ws a nice surprise. That is one band I have never listened to that much. My main memory was Live Aid and "The Sultans of Swing". I have heard Mr Knopfler is a guitar virtuoso by reputation. This clip proves it. I hear "sultans of swing" type riffs in this. The solos are a bit similar sounding to me. Interesting thanks 🙂
