I don't know if one of our family holiday traditions is atypical. It may be I'm not completely sure. Appetizers before the actual Thanksgiving meal? I dunno in our home we put out cut fruit and some cranberry orange muffins as well as a seafood platter with smoked oysters, shrimp, cocktail sauce, muenster cheese and Ritz crackers. All that is kept out until its meal time. I love Thanksgiving holiday do you all know what spinach balls are? Those are VERY traditional in our family They are basically a box stuffing mix with parmesan, butter, squeezed dry frozen spinach, an egg and some fresh parsley. Formed into 1 inch size balls and heated on a cookie sheet in the oven
