the fact this event is giving WNY a financial and tourist boost is Incredible! I have my viewing glasses ready and will watch even here in socal. Not nearly as awesome an experience as the full eclipse would be. But the last one was so cool. The sun filtered through all our palm tree fronds and there were shadow crescents all over the place The shadows through the slats of our gazebo too. where you could really see the visual evidence of an eclipse I love it. This brought to memory when Junior Seau was found dead. The community here was devastated. He was an NFL and San Diego icon. And I totally agree that his mental issues may not have been CTE in Vontaes case.

I wonder if he will have an autopsy. CTE related somehow maybe. drugs or suicide seem to fit the narrative. or a fall. Terrible news its sad no matter how you look at it. Prayers to his friends ex teammates and family.
