    If we land Allen without having to trade up, we could rebuild the line, defense and add weapons for him with the one year wait and give us the best situation we have probably had in the past 20 years to develop a QB.

    When I see him throw, he doesn't seem so inaccurate as the stats would suggest. He takes a fair bit of shots down field that go for incompletions. Conversely, EJ Manual couldn't hit a 5 yard pass but had 68% completions in his final year in college. Stats don't always tell the full story.

    Do the Jets count? We don't play well against good defensive teams.

    Not to be rude, but if we make the playoffs I suspect we will get embarrassed but I will still take the experience just to end the drought and give a coach/gm duo the credibility the casuals around here need to stick around for a few years and actually build something.

    I would expect this to be the game where you let Tyrod go to town with his legs and see if a steady diet of QB run options and McCoy sweeps can chew up the Pats.
