Because bringing in a an imperfect QB who can actually pass would make our current imperfect QB who can't look terrible and that doesn't suit an agenda.

Too many people expect a fully polished and finished product at QB, but in terms of raw tools you aren't doing much better the middle of the first round than someone like Allen.

And as soon as we are in the lead we don't trust him to make throws and stick with the running game to chew the clock.

If people can't see that the coaching staff has next to no confidence in Taylor then I don't know what to tell you at this point.

While not ideal, if we are going to have to keep a bridge QB on board while waiting for the next guy. We are better off switching to someone more stylistically suited to the offense we are trying to run.

This coaching staff has done a great job with young players. Quantity has a quality all its own.

Panthers, the TD to win the game was inches away and regardless of them being in the NFC it would have given us the #1 thing to not worry about tie breakers: a win. 10-6 or 11-5 would virtually assure us of playoffs.

We could win the Superbowl this year with Taylor single handedly doing everything and I still think he's gone. Just look at how they use him to see he's not trusted by the coaches.

The difference between Tyrod and Rodgers is talent, not scheme. I'm pretty sure you would see us more aggressive offensively if we had the horses. Fact is, we are 8-6 with bottom half ranked offense and defense with lots of promising young players getting better and a much more disciplined team in years. Those are positive traits for a team looking to build through the draft with a boat load of picks.
