  1. It does feel like its lining up that way doesnt it? We arent going to have the draft capital to take one of the top QB's and we have too many needs to blow all the picks for the second tier guys.
  2. The Irony is that Peterman will be here long after Tyrod is gone.
  3. I am of the opinion that had Tyrod started against the hot Chargers defense that week, Peterman would have been the Chiefs game and probably retained the job for the rest of the season.
  4. He is, he is a part of the success but he is not THE success.
  5. Not as much as Jacksonville is going to regret trading for him.
  6. This happens every year because everyone expects 3-4 finished products coming out which just never happens. In terms of talent, this class has just as much going for it than any other draft I can remember in the past 10 years and we could still see 3-4 good QB's come out of the class but yeah, most of them will require some work to get their like in every draft.
  7. The problem is everyone looks at the move as how it impacts the team right now, the trade was made with what it will help the team look like beyond this year. And seeing how things have gone since the trade I think its well underway to proving it a right decision.
  8. Nope, we are out of that cap mess with a bounty of draft picks and a coaching staff that has shown they can develop players. You will see the effect of this trade in 3 years.
  9. Bulk up the Dline, LB and depth in the secondary and it takes pressure off the offense. I would personally move out Tyrod to bring in a more traditional WCO QB so at least we can rely on some sort of structure.
  10. It doesn't take much to get put up on a pedestal huh? lol
  11. a WR shouldnt be forced to run scripted routes a OL shouldnt be forced to follow his blocking assignment a defender shouldnt be forced to defend his zone in zone coverage Jeez, dont you know football!?
  12. Im not even a Mayfield guy, but if he falls into our lap without having to trade up how can you not take a shot?
  13. With how often we have had that same feeling of being let down, I dont think we should be enjoying their misery.
  14. Coaches are always blamed for losing. Fans cheer for players, so they are never at fault.
  15. I never said we were going 4-12 but I was anti Tyrod because I strangely like a QB who can throw the ball.
  16. It's more like we found a team able to lead this QB to the playoffs.
  17. Wonder how you all would handle a Superbowl win lol.
  18. Explains all the psychotic behavior lol
  19. Seems strange and whimpy to cry over entertainment but that's just me.
  20. I'll be the pessimist and say we are going to get owned in the trenches on both sides of the ball and that will be the game. But hell, we are in the playoffs so who cares!
  21. Pretty remarkable he was able to end the drought without a QB.
  22. This season bought Bean and McDermott a full 3 years beyond this year of Goodwill to implement their program.
  23. I think the OP meant what has changed.
