This time next week we will be down 14-0, just like the Fins.

Playing like a different team so far
Can't move the ball against the Chiefs' 28th ranked defense. D doing better, but i wouldn't be too encouraged.

Offense won't do anything until we are down 2-3 TDs in the second half.
-
Bills have fewest 3 and outs in the NFL. Not surprising, even when the D was good early in the year, they were bending but not breaking.
-
Not a fan of either team, but it sure looks like the Big Ten refs are protecting Ohio State's playoff interests.
I won't list them all, but they missed an egregious block in the back in the first half, and marked O'Korn short of a first down at the end of the 1st half, when he clearly reached the ball over the line to gain.
Now they just missed another clear defensive holding, where the Michigan player had his jersey grabbed.

Or maybe the media is negative because both teams have been so terrible.
What the OP is saying is like claiming that more cops is causing higher crime rates, while the real answer is that there are more cops in certain neighborhoods precisely because the crime rate is higher in those areas.

I think the Bills win at least 1 of the Fins/Colts home games, very likely both.
However, let's say we fall to 5-7 after the Pats game, hopefully we just put Peterman back in, in which case 5-11 becomes a real possibility. The difference in draft position between 5-11 and 7-9 can be quite significant.

No doubt. The AFC is as weak as any conference in recent memory. Are the Jaguars really any better than the 2014 Bills? Maybe their defense is slightly better, but Bortles is no better than Orton IMO. Yet, the Jags will probably win 11 or 12 games, looking at their schedule.
I also don't think this years' Steelers are any better than their teams in the past. But they will probably go 13-3 because the AFC is so darn bad.

Rodak, I think, said this yesterday, and it is very true:
The Bills have a better chance of finishing 5-11 than making the playoffs.

Does anyone realize the Cousins led Skins have a worse record than the Tyrod led Bills??
Losses to the Eagles twice, Saints, Vikings, Cowboys, and Chiefs. That is an insane schedule. No bad losses, whereas the Bills have lost to the Jets, Bengals, and Chargers.
Washington has a bad defense, just like the Bills. That is why they aren't a playoff team. Drew Brees doesn't make the playoffs when his defense sucks either. But Cousins at least is leading a top 10 offense, and that is despite injury to Jordan Reed and losing Desean Jackson and Garcon in the offseason.

I agree with 26.
Redskins are tailspinning--lost 4 of last 6. Let Snyder keep blowing huge cap on this guy.
Take a look at the Redskins schedule. They would be a playoff team in the AFC, easy.
Their defense collapsed today against NO, but Cousins played great. He has been top 10 in passer rating 3 straight years.

If one of the top tier QBs is available at our spot, I think we should take them. However, I don't think trading up for anybody but Rosen is a good idea
However, we need to stop taking QBs in the second round or later and expecting them to be the franchise QB. If we don't take a QB in the first, then get a temporary QB like Bradford or Keenum, and try to fill as many holes in the draft as we can.

the 5 wins in the win column. THAT is going to be our undoing.
There are six 4-6 teams in the AFC. If only we had one fewer fluky win, we could still get a very high pick. Still, several of those teams will pass us, this team is AT BEST winning ONE more game
-
I was so happy at the time, but now I really wish we hadn't lucked our way into that Atlanta win.
-
Overshadowed by Peterman, but Keenan Allen is absolutely destroying our secondary.
-
At least I hedged my bets and picked up the Chargers D in fantasy.
-
18 years and counting. That 56-10 record is in jeopardy
-
Nice to see a 3 and out. Never been happier to see our punter
-
More interceptions in a little over a quarter than Tyrod in 9 games.

I know you guys are down and out so here is a great memory for you. I hate to bring it up myself cause it hurts but when you beat us in December of 2014 at the Ralph 21-13. That game was probably a great memory for you guys to look back on. As down as you feel right now just think you guys beat a team you probably dislike and wrecked our HFA for that season. You shut us down defensively and had a punt return for a touchdown and a safety when you sacked Rodgers. Jordy Nelson dropping a possible TD was a bad memory for us too. I cant believe that game was almost 3 years ago. How time flies. I didn't mind losing to a team that we love that day so it wasn't the end of the world.
It is amazing to think we had a top 5 defense (#1 in sacks) just 3 years ago. Orton did absolutely nothing that game as I recall, and yet, because of that defense (and the punt return TD), we were still able to beat an Aaron Rodgers-led Packer team. Looking at the box score, Rodgers was 17 for 42!, even worse than I remembered.

FTF on the same wave.
That stat about Tyrod being one of only 4 QBs with 10+ TDs and 3 or fewer INTs is such BS. 10 TDs after 9 games isn't impressive at all. The stat should just read as the only starting QBs with 3 or fewer INTs.
And then he talks up Tyrod's performance against the Jets. Any Bills fan knows that 75% of those stats were achieved in garbage time.
Russell Wilson fell to the third round because he was short, not because of his race. Of course, there is no mention of Jamarcus Russell or RG3 going in the top 2 overall picks. I am no fan of our president, but this clip is the epitome of FAKE NEWS!

Florida has been absolutely terrible on offense, with an emphasis on terrible, since Meyer left. That will certainly change with Chip Kelly.
I don't know if Chip Kelly can take Florida back to being a championship contender year in year out, but he would certainly be a better hire for them than Muschamp and McElwain were.

Cousins did struggle with consistency (and interceptions) his first year or two, but he showed flashes right out of the gate, as evidenced by his stats his first two games. However, he didn't really break out as a franchise QB until 2015.
Since then, he has been top 10 in passer rating and passing yards for 3 straight years. Maybe instead of hoping Peterman is the next Cousins, we should just try to acquire Cousins as a free agent?

The Bills D might force more 3 and outs this game than the rest of the season combined.
Can't believe how the chiefs offense has regressed from earlier in the year.
