"Patriot Way": Officiating Catalog
cba fan replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
congrats even a mouse finds a hidden piece of cheese now and again. I don't think there is a big conspiracy going on but officials are prone to favor the Pats for reasons unexplained. Be if Kraft Bellycheck Brady influence complaining and officials cowering. Offensive PI and pick plays are the worst offenses the officials let them get away with. Pats invented the TE push off and those pick plays. The no contact call against Chargers trumps all the others as by far the worst ever. Chargers never touched anyone. Pats ran into themselves. Worse than the "just give it to them game" -

Holy crap that is even a choice?......lol This one is only on NFL Network. An exclusive NFL Network game. -
Denver man they can't take the altitude in KC.

History man. It just is not all that accurate. I hear ya. Like the myth that Matt Cassel tenure with Bills ended in a rogue trade by Whaley. He got hit in the back of the head by a trailing defender softer than my young kid hits my 55+ yr old head every day several times with no concussion, stars, or dizziness.

They resigned Banyard 10-28-17 to the 53. They should get him or T Jones some meaningful carries before they are needed for heavy duty.

yeah this click bait news cycle we live in is a joke. What's next? every time a human goes in for surgery for 1st time with general anesthesia the headline will read: John Doe heading into surgery that he may never wake up from. or John Doe heading into surgery he may not survive. both would be accurate.

Crazy. Makes me gag. Just like Penn State boosters where known to do. yeah I went there. Sorry.

How would you rate the 2017 Draft so far?

Man alive Cheats fan. You just can't let it go. Why don't you get back to the Cheats mess board. -
Silver lining of Dareous trade is Bills really have no cap room to absorb a Glenn trade now this year. Looks like Bills are "stuck" with him in spite of seemingly not wanting him and his All Pro level of play. Bills run game has impressed since he rounded back in form. That little juxtaposition could be a big factor if Bills make playoffs or not. Ironic.

What? Watkins and Rams were off today. WTH.

Texans ready to walk out on owner after “inmate” comments

I agree with you, lets get back to sports. Except fly overs. I like them. Really cool. And to all the naysayers complaining it is military money poorly spent. It counts as training for those flyboys who must accumulate hours for ratings anyway etc etc... so no harm. -
Brandon Beane already top 3 worst GM's in bills history
cba fan replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are correct this is wrong as spotrak wipes out old info as soon as trade happens. I will past the correct in here in a min. Sorry! Correction is below credit to Bumbles247 100% Originally Posted by Bumbles247 http://www.!@#$.com/showthread.php?p=3464931#post3464931 You can't look at Spotrac's number for Jax and apply them to Buffalo's. First of all, Buffalo's cap hit for 2017 if they kept him was $16.4 mil. That included $9.75 million in salary, $250,000 in workout bonus, and $6.4 mil in prorated signing bonus. The $5.735 mil "hit" you're showing is how much of the base salary Jax now has to pay Dareus. $9,750,000 / 17 weeks = $573,529 per week X 10 remaining weeks = $5,735, 290. That's how much Jax would be hit with if they cut Dareus now (along with $7.35 mil of guaranteed 2018 salary). That's also the amount Buffalo "saves" this year because they no longer have to pay that portion of his salary. So our original cap hit for 2017 went from - --$9.75 mil salary ---- .25 mil workout + 6.40 mil prorated ... --$16.4 mil to - ---$4.0155 mil salary ----- .25 mil workout -- +6.40 mil prorated ... ---$10.665 mil Our 2017 cap hit went from $16.4 mil down to $10.665 mil, meaning we saved $5.735 in cap space in 2017. For 2018 you show a hit of $10.175 mil. Again, that's Jax's hit, not what ours would have been if we kept him. Jax's numbers come from MD's $9,925,000 salary + $250,000 workout bonus. If Buffalo had kept him it would have included those numbers plus another $6.4 in prorated signing bonus, totaling $16.575 mil. The cap hit we get by accelerating his remaining prorated bonus is now $14.2 mil. That means we save $2.375 mil in cap space in 2018. Moving on to 2019, again, you're looking at Jax's numbers. They can cut MD after 2018 with no more cap hits because they don't have any prorated bonus amounts charged against them. That stays with us. The $14.2 mil charge against us in 2018 comes from prorated charges of- 2018 - $6.4 mil 2019 - $6.4 mil 2020 - $1.4 mil These charges don't apply to Jax. But if the Bills kept Dareus through 2018 then released him they would still have the 2019 and 2020 charges accelerated. Meaning they would still get hit with $7.8 mil in dead cap in 2019. Now let's review- Keeping Dareus for 2017 and 2018 would cost the Bills (in cap charges) - 2017 - $16.400 mil 2018 - $16.575 mil 2019 - $ 7.800 mil By trading him the cap hits are now - 2017 - $10.665 mil ($5.735 mil less) 2018 - $14.200 mil ($2.375 mil less) 2019 - $00.000 mil ($7.8 mil less) Yes there is dead cap space. And there are plenty of arguments about whether the amount we are saving is worth losing the player. But we are not losing any cap space by this trade. We are gaining. -
Beane leads the league in trading players he was not shopping. Like that makes any diffence when you screw up a trades like he does.

That is good. Very good. You are a problem solver. He would have been self deprecating by calling himself(and owners) the circus. I think this statement would have gone over unnoticed. -

If a white owner said this in relation to a group of white employees, all the white employees would understand the context and normal use of that statement just means you can not always let the employees run the company's big decisions. It would not resonate at all with them as being insensitive, racial, or political, and would just be an innocent common description. McNair has to be smarter and know his minority audience and not use those sensitive comments they might consider insensitve. That is the sensitive political and racial environment we live in right now. Owners need guidance on public statements. -
The Last Play against the Bucs - illegal?
cba fan replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nice info. It appears a backward pass(also called lateral) becomes a fumble when it hits the ground for statistical purposes but is treated as a live ball in application during a play. Therefore the two minute rule is null and void. -
Bottom line is fans and media don't appreciate being lied to. Especially for a hot button issue like the reason for protests taking place in NFL during anthem right now and the racial tensions from Charlottesville. Protest that has mushroomed into the spotlight even more since Boldin got on the case. (no I do not think he is responsible for that mushroom) Yes I know his foundation is old and for underprivileged kids. It is not a stretch that he would expand it to include his new activism. The activism he apparently is putting on hold just when he would be needed the most to get back on the field for a contender. He is a fraud. I would not give anyone a pass for being fraud. It strikes me just as unusual that anyone else would give him a pass either. As far as looking into a charity financials. I do that anytime I consider a donation to a charity. You should try it. It is an eye opener how little they spend the donations on the intended recipients. Vast majority of donations only pays the salaries of the charity employees and the cost of soliciting donations.
