  1. It can't be lost on you that the vast majority of the interstate system was purposely built far far out and away from development and bypassed all cities for safety reasons. Can it?? And wasteland is a very subjective term. So Vegas, Yellowstone, Denver, the Rockies, KC, St louis, Chicago, (I know you pointed out only from IL to CA)Detroit, Nashville, Cinci, Cleveland, Pitt, Philly, are all "nothing" LOL LOL. CA people need to get over themselves. The world does not revolve around a state that is f'ed up in so many ways it is hard to count. Taxes, Illegal Immigration, state bankrupt, cities bankrupt, school shortages, sanctuary state and cites, over regulation, overtaxed, socialist thinking, all caused by Liberal loser leaders. Not to mention Hollywood sex scandals, persuasive drug use, illegal drug importer of the world. It is a perfect blueprint on how"'NOT" to run a state. I have driven through many urban "wastelands" and many country "paradises". And I love the city and all it offers. You can like both. Oh and by the way. More people live in between those two beacon lights on the hill(CA and NY) than live in those two areas.
  2. Dunkirk Don please tells us more about new turf changes at New Era that you alluded to would not have the rubber pellets infill like it has now. No way they put grass in New Era will they? It FAILs all season in Chicago and late in season in Green Bay even though GB has combo grass'artificial hybrid heated field that cost a fortune to maintain and they are going a different direction as soon as its life is over.
  3. Bills win out and end in a 3 way tie with KC OAK and BUFF. They lose the 3 way tiebreaker and miss playoffs due to points scored or strength of schedule due to some obscure meaningless last weekend games. So Billsy that NFL has tiebreakers in place that would make Buffalo lose a 3 way tie when they beat both of them in regular season.
  4. That is going to be so Billsy when KC OAK BUFF end in a 3-way tie and some obscure late season games results changes the win % Strength of Schedule and causes the Bills to miss out on playoffs to two teams they beat in regular season. Shades of SD Chargers getting home game with Dan Fouts vs hobbled Joe Ferguson when Bills soundly defeated Chargers in regular season, in SD no less.
  5. If he really wanted to play he should go to CFL or even Arena/Indoor Football Leagues and prove he is healthy.
  6. dream yeah.... I am headed to Hollywood as someone needs to pinch me......... I don't think points matter as div record would then favor Bills over Cheats.
  7. It is 10 mill more to keep TT one more year through 2018. As the 8.64 dead cap hits regardless of cut trade. So 10 million for insurance not 18 mill. I agree completely I would go with Peterman. Maybe even Peterman as bridge if we ever get to see him develop.
  8. 6 mill roster bonus is not due until 3rd day of league year. League year starts Mar 14 at 4 pm and 1st day is only 8 hours as it ends at midnight so the 3 days are Mar 14 15 16 2018. Not clear if that means they have all day on that 3rd day to trade him to avoid it or if they must get it done by end of 2nd day. So they have a couple days to trade him and avoid the roster bonus. The prorated sign bonus already paid out is never going away with a cut or trade and they will have 8.64 mill dead cap in 2018 if they trade/cut him or it will be part of his salary against the cap if they keep him. So to "RECAP": If they cut or trade Bills have dead cap of 8.640 mill in 2018 If they keep him they have cap hit of 18 mill. so 10 mill more to keep him as b/u or bridge vs cut/trade. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyrod-taylor-7899/ If they trade him in the window the new team pays him 16 mill. If they trade him after they pay the roster bonus then Bills dead cap is 14.640 mill. But new team only has to pay TT 10 mill for one year. Not sure if Bills could get a high enough draft pick that would be worth almost 7 mill of cap space.
  9. Washington Redtails. Pay homage to WW2 flying squadron. Us a redhawk logo but do a better job with it. Give it to Nike to modernize/polish it up. There are much better logos out there. https://www.google.com/search?q=redhawks&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj-kYGylYjYAhVLGt8KHTbLDVsQ_AUICigB&biw=1920&bih=1003 I prefer Redhogs myself with this logo https://www.google.com/search?biw=1920&bih=1003&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=frsxWvinD8KKjwTgkZGIBA&q=icehogs+logo&oq=icehogs+logo&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0j0i5i30k1.8393.9425.0.9704.5.5.0.0.0.0.122.560.0j5.5.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.5.557...0i24k1.0.jSaQ_ytvEzU
  10. Detroit dome is one of the best stadiums in the NFL. Great atmosphere. Cool incorporation of old brick building as suites/clubs on top floors and concession area on bottom on one side. Nothing like getting in line with outside temp at "zero" and walking in to a game decided by skill, not weather chance luck. How soon we forget how 50k Buffalo fans brought the noise and the hammer during the blizzard game moved to Detroit.
  11. Can't and won't argue anything you just mentioned. We agree pretty close. Big thing was the Toronto group passed on it's chance and unclear as to exactly why as they have never commented, but absolutely yes Ralph setup a temporary road block that in the end appeared to work out in favor of Bills fans in Buffalo. We all got lucky Pegs was willing to bid. Greatest day in my Bills fan life when it was announced Pegs was buying.
  12. Yeah agreed. When he passes(RIP) his estate will only be worth 60 mil instead of 60.3 mill due to no bonus this year.
  13. Thank you. So you agree also? Football was never meant to be played in winter and that game was played in winter. Dec 19. Pro football extended the season into basketball season to make more profit. And that game sucked donkey ass. 7-0 thriller.
  14. I said football was meant to be a fall sport. Basketball is a winter sport. High School football season ends in Nov.? Then basketball. Spring mar april may Summer june july aug Fall sept oct nov Winter dec jan feb Dec and Jan is winter. So you agree?
  15. No it was never intended to be played in the dead of winter with 12 inches of snow falling. It was always a fall sport. Windy and leaves falling and rain at times. Not Winter weather.
  16. You are missing the point. That game would have been played in Buffalo on same night as it was played in Detroit or a day or two later and next week game moved to Monday night also. The fact that over 50k Bills fans traveled from Buffalo to Detroit for the game shows they could travel and so could have just as well traveled to the Bills game in Buffalo if Bills had a dome.
  17. Yes. Just ask the OP to tell us where it is being built. He knows. Why will he tell us all this inside info and not give stadium location? Just stupid...... oh oh oh I can give all kinds of inside intel but but but can't tell you where the stadium will be, that will just get me killed. I call BS.
  18. No I have tried it many times. With NFL ticket the Bills game broadcast on WGR is a good 4 to 7+ min behind at times. In a game last yr against Rams the first punt in the game was taking place while the WGR radio broadcast was still doing pregame.
  19. Yes absolutely. In spite of stupid moves by Beano also.
  20. Romo is good info...but that voice is as bad for a guy as any womans voice is bad for a girl. Romo voice hurts my ears.
  21. lol How was the Dolphins game last night Jeter...........get to winter meetings and back to work lazy ass, instead of killing the Marlins chances to win.
  22. From my best research. Bills have a 3 day window to trade him before they would be on the hook for the sign bonus and new next year contract would take effect. The 3 days start on first day of league year at 4 pm on March 14, 2018. Maybe they trade Tyrod to Redskins for Cousins in exchange for Redskins not matching the Bills offer to Cousins on transition or franchise tag they put on Cousins after this season. If they can reach a deal with Cousins during the 3 day window. Or not sure if allowed(I doubt it) if Bills can negotiate with Cousins before league year starts to gauge if he would sign or not then make the trade contingent on him actually signing during that 3 day window.
  23. More events will bring in more revenue and help justify the annual losses that civic center public event centers lose every year every place they are built except a couple rare instances like the Allstate Center in Chicago that is the busiest arena in the world and yet still barley breaks even or loses some every year. Public event centres never make money directly. The ancillary financial area economic benefits are very hard to extrapolate and estimate. Many studies based on fuzzy math as local money spent on these events displaces local money that would have been spent other places locally. If it is an event that hordes of out of towners come in to spend mega money than that is different. Like a Star Trek convention or Super Bowl or Political convention or other things that bring in a lot of outsiders would be preferred. Concerts and truck shows RV shows etc etc are more for locals so do not generate new income. Do you think the Sabres arena should be torn down because it loses money every year??
  24. No thanks. I don't want to sleep with Tom. I would rather have a beer with Geisle.
  25. I hope you and all the rest saying this are right. I have been following his so called development.... So far though I have seen nothing. Routine drops, tuff catches in hands drops, no run after catch, no game breaking speed, no jumpball skill, no outside deep threat, playing volleyball in end zone, no end zone threat, no red zone threat, no return game apparently as he never does that, no ST play of note, They have continued to force the ball to him because he was a high draft choice, wr corp is putrid, and he is a McDerma guy apparently. Just exactly what do all you guys see in him that tells you he is an all pro in the making? I am listening...... It all looked good and like a smart decision until he fell face first into a 12" pile of snow like falling into a huge feather bed and came up hurt. He must not be close to healthy yet. Fighting through it is commendable and I hope he and medical staff are smart about this.
