  1. I agree HD is better for Riveron on this........however.....with high up camera angle there is absolutely no way you can say with 100% conclusive that that white stripe is touching the sideline. NO WAY. You would need a camera on the ground. (on this pic you can see a clear black line below the white stripe) The rules have been changed mid season. Riveron has taken upon his own self to changed the "100% conclusive to overturn a call on field"...............to a "preponderance of evidence to overturn a call on field". He is wrong and it should be an immediate fireable offense. Especially since he did not overturn a clear lost ball into ground winning TD catch by Pats Cooks that rolled from his hands to below his waste and was in clear plain sight vs Texans earlier in year.
  2. This would be perfect time for CINCI to cut bait with new HC and AJ McCarron as starting QB. Not expecting it but would not be completely surprised either.
  3. No way. It is not 100% conclusive that he is OOB in this pic. His ass has not touched down yet. His shoulder is close but may be just up yet. Can't tell as point in view is the white shoulder strip. It may be just up. I can see a dark line under ass. You can not see 100% that his fingers are on that ball. Looks like they could just be off the ball and black gloves make it impossible to say with 100% conclusive. The way the rules for replay are written that is inconclusive and call should have stood. TD all day.
  4. The AFC North was swept by the BEARS. Yes the BEARS. Bills are better than Ravens. Choke on that.
  5. Holy **** that is conclusively 'inconclusive" call on field should have stood. !@#$ you Riveron. I don't see any frame that 100% shows he is touching that ball when he touches out of bounds.
  6. I agree with you. He is not worth an 18 mill cap hit. However that is not the options available in regards to TT. His contract is a sunk cost and choices now are 18 mill cap hit if keep him. 8.640 cap hit if cut. So it cost 9.36 mill cap hit to keep him for 2018 as a bridge. Less then Cutler and Bradford cost Dolphins/Vikes this year. I agree with you to move on. Unless he goes all Joe Flacco and wins Super Bowl I say move on unless no viable alternative presents itself.
  7. He is like Star Wars saga now......will go on forever and outlive us all. Good for you Spilla....Bills should have signed him.
  8. Yeah whatever... we all get it..... But this staff and players as flawed as they are, somehow found that elusive nut, that others could not for almost 18 years. They have to get some credit.
  9. That is basically what his contract is right now. 8.640 mill dead cap if cut and or 18 mill cap hit if on team in 2018. So he cost about 9.36 mill to keep for 2018. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyrod-taylor-7899/ To reduce that number would require Bills to cut Taylor then negotiate a new contract with him while he is a free agent. So if the target is 8 mill why would TT agree to that as he gets 16 mill new money for 2018 with current contract or can be cut and be FA where he will surely get more than 9 mill on open market. And why would Bills do all this crazy move if they want him for 8 mill and that is what he approx. costs if they just keep him. TT has been jacked around enough. HC and FO is luke warm on keeping him. Why would he let Bills do it again especially if they are thinking about doing a mutli year deal to make him more attractive to trade. Hold firm and get his current deal or be a FA is his choice. Easy choice. caveat: keeping him for 2018 and his auto contract voided years release would incur a 8+ mill dead cap then spread over 3 years. So that may be a desired salary cap management plus for Bills.
  10. You see that a lot. It seems LT and some RT get out of there stances so fast and kick that outside leg out in a two or three stutter step depending on tech needed it looks like they false start. I think they are just very quick and usually good athletics in comparison to other linemen. Dawkins and Glenn do that also.
  11. I found this. can't find anything current. This is a post from 2015. I stand CORRECTED. Sorry. https://sports.stackexchange.com/questions/12093/player-out-of-bounds-during-fumble ARTICLE 1. PLAYER OR OFFICIAL OUT OF BOUNDS. A player or an Official is Out of Bounds when he touches a boundary line, or when he touches anything that is on or outside a boundary line, except a player, an official, or a pylon. Apparently player is not out of bounds but ball would be if ball was touched.
  12. Turnovers--the only reason the..(insert any NFL team name)..made the playoffs. says every NFL team who ever made the playoffs or missed the playoffs.
  13. Can you break down the "process' for me one more time?
  14. It was a ballsy call. Good for McDermott and KW. In Bills current state that was a blowout at that point and OK to take a chance at least for one down/try........no one thought it was ever going to turn into a one score game. later.
  15. All the middling teams have a year that luck goes there way in a league with very even overall talent and then sneak into playoffs. This has alluded the Bills year after year. The fact it took almost 18 years for Bills to have this year is the weirdness. Other teams have this year about every 5 or 6 years or so and don't have a 18 year drought.
  16. If a defender is out of bounds and contacts an offensive player he is also considered out of bounds and down. Does anyone have vid of this play. TV never showed much. Bills lost a fumble when that happened in Buffalo vs Giants I believe. Rex never challenged and if he would have Bills would have retained possession of ball. Cost them. If this is the case defenders need to get one foot out whenever on sideline.
  17. https://www.bankrate.com/finance/taxes/state-with-no-income-tax-better-or-worse-1.aspx WTH are these investigators completely clueless. WTH are these sportswriters completely clueless? https://www.bankrate.com/finance/taxes/state-with-no-income-tax-better-or-worse-1.aspx
  18. Well...I picked Browns to win in my pool today.....I know i am crazy but had to do it. Would serve Steelers right for the idiocy to rest Ben and Bell and then lose, while Pats lose to Jets, so Pitt misses out on home field. If the front office would get out of Hue's way they would be much better. He wanted Grappolo at any cost.
  19. My net worth is less than a million. But that is not counting my 5 count Buffalo Bills helmet collection or Bills trading cards.
  20. That package is not going away........can't wait. Seriously. I like Webb, he actually makes a play with the wildcat. Somewhere Brad Smith is jealous.
