Total Fail. First of all TT is not a free agent. He has a contract with Bills for 2018. No way to apply a franchise tag. Only two options: keep him for 18 mill cap hit. Cut/trade him for 7.64 dead cap. You can not cut someone and then apply a tag. For conversation lets say he was a free agent right now and Bills could then apply a tag. Franchise for QB is what? 24+ million this year? TT would immediately sign it tying Bills hands for 24+ mill cap hit and salary for TT for 2018. No other team would likely trade for the guy now as his salary is too high. If Bills trade him now before 3rd league day year, he is a 7.64 mill cap hit. If they trade him after league yr 3rd day Bills have 13.64 cap hit and team taking him in trade have a 10 mill cap hit. He would have more trade value then. side note of tags: changes are brewing. Cousins will file grievance if Deadskins try to tag him to get assets in a trade. Intention of tag is to keep players and work on long term contract. They have clearly shown with the asinine stupid trade and needless over market contract with Alex Smith they have no interest in giving Cousins a market rate deal to stay and can not feign fake interest like they could have had they not already agreed to A Smith deal. Even if they negotiate, Cousins loses leverage as Deadskins would want a contract that is easily tradable and Cousins wants a market contract. Arbitrator would not look kindly on Deadskins for doing this. Not sure how he would rule but UFA would be the most likely rule. This would set a precedent and a right one, as that was the intention of the franchise tag rules. When Bills tagged Byrd they wanted to keep him and tried to sign him. Same with Clements. Peerless Price may have been a feign by the Bills but was plausible.

should be "13 reasons why" style. From the afterlife why Bills moved on.

Peter King lays it ALL out on the QB Carouselcba fan replied to RalphWilson'sNewWar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I assume you mean in general vs NFL teams and not specific to Jets?........as Jets never get a star QB. Sanchez, Todd, G Smith, Hackenberg, many late in career downsider Qb's like Favre, Esiason, N O'Donnell, Testeverde, Vick, Ken O'Brien was probably best and screamed avg almost his whole career. Same with Fitzpatrick having one good year with them. Chad Pennington was OK but noodle arm after injury and never healthy outside one year. Even Namath was a one year wonder and many avg years in regards to team W/L record.

Frank Reich Absolutely OWNS His First Press Conferencecba fan replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives If he fails at game management and time management it will throw me back. If a former b/u QB who learned all this standing next to HC most of his career and did well doing it when playing, fails. Well. It would just be mind numbing. Can't wait to see how he does.

Rumor: Shady on the Trade Blockcba fan replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I can play along: I heard Bills are trading pick 21, their 2nd round pick in 2018, TT, Glenn, Shady, Dawkins, Tre White, and Poyer, for Giants 2 pick this year and 2nd round pick next year 2019.

AJ McCarron wins grievance vs Bengals, is UFAcba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives They could still tag him. Right? Transition tag maybe? That has to be the ugliest chest tat since Italians invented chest hair. Could anyone be that religious to think that was needed??

Bears looking set to release Glennoncba fan replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives If he would have gotten his head out of his ass long enough the ball out and play reasonable then Trubiskiy would have never seen the field this past year. Instead of letting Trubiski trade up and draft of, light a competitive fire under his ass he wilted and was correctly replaced. It is on him. His future now is as a lower priced back up. He made his millions so props to him for cashing in on the talent he had to offer. He became a FA at the best time and demand made him millions. He is a success in that regard.

It's February 15. What's going on at OBD?cba fan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives OK. Then why was the media reporting a couple weeks back, that Broncos were close to a deal with Cousins.?? https://247sports.com/nfl/denver-broncos/Bolt/Colin-Cowherd-reports-Broncos-close-to-deal-with-Kirk-Cousins-114466121 None of this is allowed until new league year starts.

It's February 15. What's going on at OBD?cba fan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives What do you mean they can't talk contract yet?? Redskins just traded for Alex Smith when the trade period is closed. They also agreed to a contract before they are allowed to talk contract. NFL makes no sense sometimes.

Bills to explore trade market for tyrodcba fan replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives diff in keeping vs trading is: if done in the two day window from Mar 14 and 15 and if TT signs with other team for at least 1 mill a year(very likely) his dead cap is 7.6 otherwise if he sits out or retires it is 8.6 mill If trade: 2017 dead cap approx 7.6 mill If keep: 2017 cap hit 18 mill So he is effectively a 10.4 mill contract for 2018. Looks like if they keep him for 2018 his contract auto voids at end of year and Bills then hit with 5.56 mill in dead cap in 2019. If he is traded or released after 6-1-18 it pushes some of the dead cap into 2019: 2019 Dead Cap: $5,560,000 http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyrod-taylor-7899/ hit the little red X at far right on year 2018 for details.

Joe Buscaglias take on the QB situationcba fan replied to Seanbillsfan2206's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives lol.....everyone form Boston Pats territory looks like some version of Rodak and Grappolo Lamar Jackson looks like the love child of Michael Jackson/Donovan McNabb/Lavar/Lonzo Ball. One big mash. McCown looks like the love child of Ben Roethlisberger and Will Ferrell. I would like White also, he could be had in later rounds like K Cousins was.

That is funny my friend....lol we can even get a good rumor anymore......

PFF: How the Vikings Might Handle Their QB Dilemmacba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Vikings are Super Bowl contenders. Who gives them best chance to win it? Cousins. I would go after him.

CB Vontae Davis Has Been Medically Clearedcba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I don't know what "plays so hard is" for this guy. But I seen him come up and make routine tackles and come up hurt. He may not be Mr Glass....but I bet he lives on a beach.

Another rookie in offseason trouble - Kareem Huntcba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives In Cleveland no less.

Yes 100% correct. I wish Johhny the best. Explains a lot about his actions and behaviors. Everything can be going along just fine and in a span of a few days person goes missing and found wandering around in a wooded/remote area naked praying to God. Or worse. Dead. It would be a big gamble to invest multi millions into your QB leader with that DX. Players like WR, defense, ass coach, front office, etc.... like Brandon Marshal with the personality disorder are easier to replace and carry on, than the most important guy on the field. QB.

QB's... Where they land... Story on NFL.comcba fan replied to BuffaloDave55's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I vote with you Stank-Nasty I would not play a ACL recovering franchise QB at less than 100% and risk a Bradford situation. Especially with a Foles sitting on the roster. I mean the Eagles goal right now is to keep their Super Bowl window open and Foles starting for a few and Wentz coming on later seems to be the smartest way to go.

Matt Harmon: Best Tight-Window Passers of 2017cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives I hear your argument and it makes complete sense. ByThe Way: the word "interwebs" is used only to make fun of the intelligence level of said posters the user disagrees with. Like misusing words and changing them like saying "Rocket Surgeon" as a 2nd level dig, because Rocket Scientist or Brain Surgeon use was not a good enough dig. stop it already.....lol. It means nothing. Many QB's have done this.

Matt Harmon: Best Tight-Window Passers of 2017cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Looks like he cocked to throw to Thompson and brought it back when the safety was in is line to throw coming forward. Looked like with an arm like TT has it was an easy try. Example of too cautious I guess.
