This guy needs professional help and intervention. He publically and behaviorally has shown characteristics appearing to possibly be gender conflicted or some other personality/mental disorder. I hope those close to him get him some counseling or other treatment that will give him a better chance to lead his life in a direction that makes him happy, whatever that may be. A life appears to be hanging in the balance here.

PFF: How the Vikings Might Handle Their QB Dilemma

You are assuming they don't make it. I am not. The starts are aligned for MN. QB is the missing link. -
Josh McDaniels Withdraws from Colts' HC Job
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Colts have put it out there that they will honor their contracts. That would make most normal people endeared to Colts as they are paying them. And most normal people would make the best of it, circle the wagons so to speak after talking to a clear upbeat stand up guy like Reich. Even if they would rather spill a drink on McDaniels then share a beer with him. -
Davis was cut so he should not count in the compensatory formula.

Spotrac List of Potential Cap Casualties
cba fan replied to MrEpsYtown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every one he played in he performed well. He has no long-term history of being hurt. The small cap savings due to dead cap left over if cut/traded will be eaten up by the marginal avg player with less talent then Glenn has that they would sign to replace him. Do you want a guy worse than Ducasse or Mills replacing an All Pro LT who could play guard or RT and actually make the Bills O line good. And not fake good like some reports are suggesting they were last year. They stunk last year overall by any game play eye test measure.(McCoy had career low ypc, TT sacked a lot)Anyone who does not believe that just needs to watch the moves the Bills FO will make to improve the line to understand they also see it the same way. -
WTH cost did NFL owners incur? Do they not have lawyers on retainer which is basically prepaid lawyer work when needed? Or do they not have full time lawyers working for them that are paid anyway? Is this some kind of liberal accounting argument like when US goes to war and suddenly those opposed site all the Military expenses as part of the war effort without deducting the costs of those same members training/lodging/eating/medical etc etc for being in military anyway. It is only a couple million. Jerry probably spent more on his face surgeries. He will be OK.

He has shown the "how not to maximize his value as a free agent" as good as anyone has ever. Who the hell was advising him last year? Robert (my goal is to be in HOF someday) Royal??? -
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyrod-taylor-7899/ click on the little red X's on right for details. What is lacking on this site is how it all works if he is traded during season when he has been paid weekly salary already. It would change every week I guess as to dead cap etc etc....... Keep in mind 19 20 21 are mirages as he is a UFA after 2018 without a contract extension negotiated.

What was Ralph Wilson’s “Cash To The Cap” about?
cba fan replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The others explained it pretty well. Basically he worked outside the cap. Holding the Bills to not spending any more "actual cash" then the salary cap number. Even though he could have spent a lot more as they never spent what would have been allowed on a per year basis in regards to salary cap. An amount that can be mega millions over the cap in actual cash outlay if they would have signed premium FA's and issued big sign bonuses like other teams routinely did. They still did contracts the same as always like other teams. Sign bonuses amortized forward and properly loading yearly salaries per the rules. Just up to yearly cap cash outlay. So Bills would show they had mega cap space per league salary cap calculations per year, but since Ralph was paying out "in real cash" at the salary cap level already, he would not spend(effectively borrowing on future years) to sign players with expiring contracts and for FA's. This effectively made the Bills a team that could not compete and led to them being the NFL farmteam like MLB KC Royals and Miami Marlins use to be back in the day. Miami still is now again. Take a look at actual cash outlays for 2017. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cash/2017/ NFL recent years not a great example as in past years, as many teams horde salary cap now since they can carry surplus forward if desired and do not lose it. Lions spent way over cap last year. Cap was 167 mill. With Ralphs cash to cap accounting method he would never bring unused salary cap money forward and just keep the profit. He could never spend money brought forward anyway in his cash to cap method as he refused to spend anymore actual cash then the salary cap number. I do not recall any other teams agreeing to do this except possibly the Bengals. Ralph was hoping it would catch on and became league wide. It failed. What it was successful at was making Bills non competitive for over a decade and keeping Ralphs net worth from dipping below a Billion dollars. Thanks Ralph. -
