  1. Don't forget McDerma comes from Andy Reid football school. Rookie could sit for a year. With McCarron luck , Peterman would beat him out for starting gig. Peterman I assume practices well as he impressed enough to get a regular season start in retrospect "just a little early" in his career.(I hate your play Dimarco)
  2. We are not talking about 6th round comp picks. We are talking about 3rd round comp picks. 3rd round picks are GOLD. They get you a #1 WR like K Benjamin or a starting QB. You don't throw them away for less than avg players like Davis Ducasse Holmes etc etc.......
  3. That was him asking if any proof links of "why did this happen to him" aka "mindset outside influences triggering events mental DX trauma grief etc etc......
  4. lol..... no but Johnny Football had a great slider.
  5. If we are doing hypotheticals after the fact how about going all the way. Under my scenario Bills would still break draught last year and have great pick this year and still have Tre White. McDerma should have traded with Houston who wanted to move up for Watson or mayby it was Mahomes. Tre White was drafted at 27 so would have still been there at 25. Watson would have been there at 10 if he was Texans target as he was drafted 12. Mahomes was their at 10. (McDerma should have been able to project KC was going further than HOU as HOU had no QB and KC wins every year) McDermott really screwed this up channeling man-love for Andy Reid. Then doubled down and traded the 3rd round pick #91 they got in that trade to trade up for a not very good WR. I know hind sight is 20/20 but dam what a screw up. Bills would have pick #4 right now and maybe would have picked a 2017 WR who can catch balls without moving up. Ju Ju Shuster maybe?
  6. lol... Chad was so slow he was first QB ever to have his throws measured via "air speed" vs "ground speed".
  7. lol....you got this blacklable. It is very hard to tell who the Bills FO likes or not as they seem to trade or dump players for no apparent reason time after time after time, but you can dam well be sure Dawkins and Tre White are at the bottom of the list of players they would be willing to trade. They are All Pros, young, on cheap rookie contracts, get the process, humble, high character guys. The lynchpin poster children for what McDerma/Beane wants to do.
  8. I get that I am using eye test and perception over numbers. But to be clear no one in NE was happy with Gilmore early on as the numbers attest and he was singled out as liability. Yes he got it together and played better in last 9 games he played and made a heck of a play to save the Jags game for them. That pic of him selling out to tip that ball was a thing of beauty and something he never did in Buffalo. You are correct he played better then I implied. The facts don't lie. I was biased I admit. Pats treat players like packages of hamburger in the freezer with a sell by date. It would not surprise me if they traded Gronk. He is injured all the time and getting old fast and talking about retirement. May be time to dump him.
  9. 4 good games is an exaggeration....... but I will stand by he had more bad games then good games for Pats last year. And of course he played better in NE than he did in Buffalo his last year here. Still not worth 65 mill. Too inconsistent.
  10. He may never be the same coming off Achilles injury. With that injury likely slowing him down he would become a crazed man on the field as he can not keep up anymore. He also would then lead the league in PI/holding if he played in Buffalo as Bills do not get preferential treatment from officials on those calls like Seahawks have received for years. AFC East refs are conditioned to call it for Pats year in and year out. Not like Seahawks D that got away with muggings for years when they all did it up there. Why? All they need is a decent corner to give them 4 good games a year like Gilmore did.
  11. It would make more sense to throw a couple more million at S Watkins if he is open to a prove it deal.
  12. Not sure. But they do allow a plate of armor on elbow/forearm to help apply a forearm shiver on small DB's laying on ground not looking after whistle, while future LB for forearm team stands over the guy and just points..
  13. If the Bills do "move to different city playing in pink with purple polka dots leotard uniforms"" and if the Bills don't "reverse their decision on the new uniform colors and leotards". That pretty much sums up my lifetime commitment as that complete combo of events will never happen.
  14. No 1st rounder for Foles. I would start Peterman before I did that.
  15. Agree and would add I would not use Bill Parcells method 100%. That is where the evolving nature of drafting comes into play. Many high end guys now come out early so you factor that in. Not a big factor when BIll Parcells was in his prime.
  16. Yes a 3rd round pick is worth millions. 6 is on the very high end though I agree. for comparison: Browns pd 16 million in cap space for the Texans 2nd round pick in exchange for taking Brock O contract off Houston's books. Using that example would put a 3rd rounder at 6 mill a decent to good get. Especially considering how low the 3rd round salaries are. I would easily trade 24 million in cap space for one year for "4" 3rd round drafts picks in a heartbeat. You could package them with Bills first rounders and move up to get that QB Bills need.
  17. lol......he runs......but he can be caught....... Bill Polian is clearly not 100% on his game anymore however on the QB issue.... He would still do Ok just drafting proto-typical QB's and following Bill Parcells rules for drafting QB...you know 4 yr starter winning accuracy at certain level etc etc.....
