They are going to sign Nate Solder to play RT hopefully as some posters stated. That would solve two problems. Bills would have a good RT and since Solder was a Pat he would never be called for holding because BB the genius coaches them how to hold without getting caught. He has also played LT and TE.

I know confusing as hell. Media even has reported it wrong thinking you get Foles with 4 yr low deal. It voids after next year. The extra years are added to manipulate the salary cap just like the extra years on Tyrods contract. Can not see details of Tyrods original deal as it has been updated as he was traded. Foles contract voids 23 days prior to league year 2019 if still on "roster". When contract is traded the team in question in regards to "roster" is now the new team and not the old team(eagles) as the new team as new team owns the contract.

This is how it usually works when new GM/coach take over. They dump the previous players they deem any kind of slight character issue and usualyy refer to it as "a poor scheme fit" They then realize they need talent or they will not win and will be fired sooner rather than later. They then look past some character issues and sell themselves on some nebulas theme(ex: the process) they expose, and feel they can correct said behavior.

If we are doing hypotheticals after the fact how about going all the way. Under my scenario Bills would still break draught last year and have great pick this year and still have Tre White. McDerma should have traded with Houston who wanted to move up for Watson or mayby it was Mahomes. Tre White was drafted at 27 so would have still been there at 25. Watson would have been there at 10 if he was Texans target as he was drafted 12. Mahomes was their at 10. (McDerma should have been able to project KC was going further than HOU as HOU had no QB and KC wins every year) McDermott really screwed this up channeling man-love for Andy Reid. Then doubled down and traded the 3rd round pick #91 they got in that trade to trade up for a not very good WR. I know hind sight is 20/20 but dam what a screw up. Bills would have pick #4 right now and maybe would have picked a 2017 WR who can catch balls without moving up. Ju Ju Shuster maybe?

It is very hard to tell who the Bills FO likes or not as they seem to trade or dump players for no apparent reason time after time after time, but you can dam well be sure Dawkins and Tre White are at the bottom of the list of players they would be willing to trade. They are All Pros, young, on cheap rookie contracts, get the process, humble, high character guys. The lynchpin poster children for what McDerma/Beane wants to do.

I get that I am using eye test and perception over numbers. But to be clear no one in NE was happy with Gilmore early on as the numbers attest and he was singled out as liability. Yes he got it together and played better in last 9 games he played and made a heck of a play to save the Jags game for them. That pic of him selling out to tip that ball was a thing of beauty and something he never did in Buffalo. You are correct he played better then I implied. The facts don't lie. I was biased I admit.
