  1. Confused? Yes I am. Offended not so much. So you disparage baseball fans as you incorrectly surmise they like to sit through commercials? and yet you like Football because it has commercials?? I was not offended just was asking for his reasons why he hated BB. (before you go off and meant soccor with the capital F reference as soccor. In US, football in any print is American football. http://www.businessinsider.com/football-vs-soccer-map-2013-12 ) PS: those running ribbon ads around ground level of soccor matches are more than annoying.
  2. Darnold lobbed it Allen medium threw it. Mayfield fired it.
  3. Yes. And to top it all off the best player from that draft was Lionel Gates who they cut at end of preseason.(he was best player on field when playing pre season) to keep worthless washed up Anthony Thomas A-Train who Jauron signed after having him on Bears.
  4. Man D. Stop being a dick. We were just having a nice friendly debate. Which sport sucks is complete individual opinion. You never laid out your opinion about why it sucks. I was curious why you thought it sucked. No need to know now. No need to respond more. Peace out.
  5. What sport is boring and what sport is interesting is completely subjective. Euros hate baseball and love soccor. They think baseball is boring. Americans hate soccor and love baseball. Americans are bored out of their heads watching nothing happen for 3 hours than a lucky weird bounce goal decides some team is much better than the other. Americans hate Hockey overall and love pro Golf and NFL. (based on tv ratings only) hockey too have too many lucky goals deciding games. Basketball has some of the highest ratings in tv sports and is by far the #1 participant sport in US history. Not even that close. Nothing wrong with you finding it boring. To each his own but you are in the minority about basketball was my point., and the statements about NBA games mostly decided in last few minutes is dead wrong, was my main point.
  6. ??? 1q 2q 3q 4q T 21 29 29 26 105 26 38 31 32 127 1 2 3 4 T 39 22 23 21 105 12 23 25 22 82 when were these two games decided/won? 1st or 2nd half? There are two different types of games. Arena Football and Indoor Football. Arena has the nets and circus goofiness. Indoor Football has no nets. Indoor is closer to real football as they actually run the ball. Arena not so much. Both are a far cry from real football but fill a niche in spring summer programming for arenas that would otherwise be empty and is loads better than indoor soccor. I would go if team was near by.
  7. Mayfield > Allen in the Browns opinion. Darnold > Allen in the Jets opinion. Allen > Rosen in the Bills opinion. Rosen> Jackson in Cards opinion. Jackson> Rudolph in Ravens opinion. Rudolph>Lauletta in Steelers opinion.
  8. The Panthers own the stadium so it is included in the sale. Good deal considering most new stadiums cost over 1 billion. Bills are still highest priced sale of NFL team only at 1.4 billion.
  9. I just took my Debbie Downer pill so sorry in advance. WTH. If you are projecting score of ea team in ea game your are projecting the winner whether you intended to or not. If projecting the betting line this is complete BS as no one can do that until week of game due to injury, weather, cheating suspensions by Patriots, PED suspensions, trends, etc etc...… and does not have as much to do about who you project as the winner. Has everything to do with trying to get all bettors to bet evenly on each team. extreme ex: Team A is hands down best team in league at every position talent wise including best b/u RB in league, and is going to steamroll mediocre team B this Sunday. Public is fixated on mid week news that Team A starting star running back is out due to PED use. Line changes from Team A favored by 6 to Team B favored by 3 as Public goes nuts and bets Team B. Team A without star RB still steamrolls Team B 37-10. Line had nothing to do with projected winner and everything about getting bettors to bet evenly on each team. Two completely different types of projections. I can not for the life of me figure out why someone would take the time or care about projecting the betting line so I can only assume this is a projected winner line based on talent on rosters as we speak. But Clay apparently is trying to say the opposite.
  10. Agreed...… then just tackle her like rugby. Don't have to just hit her as hard as you can like many NFL players do, and then watch the ball carrier sometimes bounce off and keep going.
  11. NFL needs to get over themselves. It is just a meaningless pre season game. Who cares about standards. Bears played in U of IL stadium for a year when Soldier field was redone. Vikings played in U of MN stadium for a year when new stadium was built. If NFL can play in reg season games in Mexico City and MLB can play in Puerto Rico etc etc.. it can be done. PS: and just recently on the island with no power. Using generators to light the field. I think NFL can suck it up and put up with a cramped locker room for one meaningless preseason game. If it is about production issues for TV again they can suck it up and use hand held cameras instead of cameras on dollies/rails etc etc...….to broadcast it.
  12. Lovely, Left Lazy League Legacy. Luckily Likes Longer Local Leisure Life.
  13. lol...….. The clock is now ticking for when he will ask to be reinstated so he can come out of retirement to play for the Pats.
  14. Yeah. That is what liberal socialist democracy thinking looks like.(they all fail eventually) They see this as a jobs program. The don't care that it will cost more to pay the salaries, health care, retirement etc etc.. of the bureaucracy hired to administrate this, then they take in, or, that it will eventually require a tax payer bailout into infinity. Liberals call it economic development. And love it. Conservatives call it wealth redistribution. And hate it.
  15. How about the one where he comes out of the backfield wide open for a Tyrod TD pass and slips on air. Incomplete. He is a one person human lowlight reel.
  16. But at least with the exchange rate you will lose less than planned.
  17. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2012/10/30/studies-casinos-bring-jobs-but-also-crime-bankruptcy-and-even-suicide/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.061a538f275c https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/01/170103101751.htm There are so many links it is tiring to look through them all. Google them and you will see the same results time after time. No one really refutes it. They just all go along as gov't and local gov't profit off of it without realizing or caring(?) that it cost as much or more to deal with the problems then they get back. This is why locals hold out for an enormous rights fee paid to local gov't when casino is interested in locating in their areas. If they know if it is inevitable they are coming to at least get an early pay day.
  18. Nothing could wear out EJ Manual, who put the soft into soft toss passing game. I never knew a guy who had such a cannon throw so soft. He said after he was benched when/if he ever got the chance again he would "let it rip". Go down swinging(paraphrasing). He was reinserted as starter a couple times and, nope, never did as he promised.
  19. In areas where gambling revenue increases for local and state gov't, foreclosures and bankruptcies increase. They are directly tied to addictive gambling situations. Most people who follow gambling know this and there are many studies that confirm this fact. The key is being able to budget your gambling entertainment spending. For many addictive type human personalities that is very hard to do.
  20. In that context.......yes, I hear what you are saying.
