  1. only way to revisit it is ban dreads.
  2. Nice blog type review. We appreciate that. Thanks. jm2cents: Throw to Jones on first drive on 3rd down Jones was blown up early and he never got to the ball. Last throw by Allen to wide open Jones was off as Allen had the injured elbow play before. There may have been two more errant throws as he was targeted 8x and caught 3. The PI that caused the loss was a good call as Gaines ran into him before ball got there but they may have misssed holding on Bills DE coming in on Watson and couldashudda been offsetting.
  3. Holy crap guys. If you are going to call out posters for not properly interpreting the salary cap and being lazy...……..get your facts right. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ KB contract is on the books now and if he is traded it all goes away except what he has earned prior to his trade. So Bills 2018 capspace would actually rise by about approx. $5.47 million if traded this week.(goes down about $497,588 every week he is not traded.(NFL pays 17 weeks now) No dead cap with trade. If they cut him the 2018 salary cap available for Bills in 2018 does not change at all as it has already been accounted for in the projection for 2018. and also no dead cap for 2019 from KB as 2018 is last year of his deal. No accelerated bonus etc etc.....coming due immediately which is the big problem with cutting and/or trading/retiring guys mid contact like with Dareus Taylor Wood etc etc......
  4. I see that they made a change. You are correct. Thanks. So player can no longer grab the nameplate, must be below the nameplate and/or effectively on the numbers then. Interesting that runner in tackle box and QB are exempt from the horse collar but that also makes sense.
  5. That she is really 18. That close male mutual friend of Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Rodgers, Michael Westbrook, and Jonathan Martin, who insists none of them are conflicted, including himself.
  6. no it does not. The horse collar is only suppose to be called if player gets his hands inside the pads at the neck area and pulls player down from behind. Players have grabbed the jersey nameplate and pulled the player down from behind and that is suppose to not be a horse collar and it usually is not. Only called when the official mistakes that for having hand inside pads at back of neck area. What Ivory and others need are breakaway extensions so defensive player effectively grabs air if he goes for the dreads.
  7. then that holding would be a 10 yard penalty and still a first down if a pass play.(college) 10 yard penalty and no auto 1st down if a run play.(college) I would like that as a start to reworking that rule.
  8. That payment would be part of their salary and would be taxable in US and would apply to NFL salary cap also.
  9. Brady Quinn what is your name sir? my Namath Garcia Green Dickey Griese Dickey https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/qbindex.htm
  10. The miss to Jones over the middle was vey Taylor like. Allen seemed to rooster and wanted to throw it but maybe thought if he stepped into it the defender would hit his legs?? as that defender was very fast jet speeding into him. Or did not want to throw across his body and have a TO at that point. Hard to say.
  11. No,he is The Rock..........lol Silver lining is Buffalo has some really hot women. Jordan Matthews should have been here when he was single.
  12. Lol......Nice comeback. Seriously sex must feel better in the coastal cities for some odd reason I guess, after listening to all these pro athletes whine about it incessantly.
  13. you got it backwards. Beane advised Pegula he was going to fix the cap problem and it would take a couple years to do it. Pegula wanted Mahomes as his QB and for unknown reasons Whaley and McDermott would not draft him when they had the chance. A report says Whaley was fired for that reason. I don't believe that, as other reports had Whaley really liked D Watson, and very likely McDerma exerted his influence on Whaley to not take a QB until his friend Beane was hired. That team you speak so negatively about had a 9-7 record under Marrone and was ONE very good QB and a year of better health from the rest, away from being a real Super Bowl contender.
  14. Rebel101 said: I said: well.... he sure has a nice crop of WR's he is more than welcome to make look average. That would be amazing. Augie said: Make them look even average, and it would be a miracle! But you don't understand who I am talking about?? OK. This is who. "current crop of WR's" Allen can start by making that sorry group look at least avg. FYI: "nice crop of WR's" is sarcasm.
  15. well.... he sure has a nice crop of WR's he is more than welcome to make look average. That would be amazing.
  16. If Eagles call and offer a 1st...…..I would ask Shady if he wants to go back to Philly and leave it all up to him. Philly will never offer a 1st so not happening.
  17. Did you know Ryan Fitzpatrick use to be the smartest human on the planet....lol Seriously. I get what you are saying and it gives me hope. Thanks for the find.
  18. Bell situation gets even more interesting. https://heavy.com/sports/2018/09/steelers-leveon-bell-trade-holdout-transition-tag/ Steelers can transition tag him next year for 20% bump from what he ACTULLAY earns this year. If he keeps holding out, that amount could be around 11 mill.(assuming he shows up in time to get this year to count as an accrued year) Steelers have the upper hand. PS: my math= Bell is pd $855,000 per week. If he returns week 11 so season counts towards FA in 2019 he will only earn 6 checks for total of $5.13 million. Transition tag with 20% bump means he would have to play next year for Steelers for only $6.15 million. Of course I would think some team would sign him to a much higher offer sheet and hope Steelers do not match.(or work a trade at that point if it is allowed, not sure) I think Bell would retire before playing for $6.15 mill for Steelers especially with the bad blood going on.
  19. Rumors are Matt Moore,s arm is shot. He has been declining several invites to try out.
  20. Very true and I was a little off. Total value though over life of a NFL FO contract though would be significantly more money then Whaley makes now doing that Senior Bowl gig.
  21. Trade a conditional 7th for both. If they do not stick all year turns into nothing.
