  1. i like this guy. He would be what an impartial Bills fan Patriots hater would/should sound like. Personally Miami lost decade was the most painful time of my sports life. Every *****in game dread. Loss after painful loss after painful loss. They played them tough so many times but always found a way to ***** defeat from the jaws of victory. Leopold hitting the uprights ug......Like the freakin dark ages man.
  2. ?? They are pretty old now. Back in their day they were very good in concert.
  3. a misdirection play so to speak. And not a very good one at that.
  4. because we are talking about a home playoff game that Bills fans have not had for decades vs.........a very long playoff run in the 90's with many home playoff games that then resulted in a couple at the end of that run that did not sell out. Plus at that time the stadium held about approx 7 to 10k more or so. Plus the first Bills home playoff game for this season at home, if it happens, is already sold out.
  5. you are correct. However, conventional wisdom and practices in NFL up to now has been late in game virtually all coaches go for one in that situation. Going for two and not making it opens you up to criticism. It was not textbook late, there was 7 min to go. So almost outside that go for two only at end thinking. But close enough for us to debate the merits. For example if this was a score in middle of third or so I would expect no surprise if a coach went for 2 to get within 7. either way has merits. Find out earlier what you need or wait to the end. Maybe McDermott is going to be a new trend setter with this now.
  6. what i don't understand is why BB could not challenge the spot being a yard or more off. Which it was. He then would have won that challenge and had a third challenge given to him for later use. They then could have spotted the ball at the new correct spot via determination on replay and then remeasured for first down. But apparently he can only challenge that the first down was not made. Why? They clearly marked it wrong by at least a yard. Still kinda inconclusive if he made first down line to gain or not so call stands. First down. Call was not confirmed so it was inconclusive. Then to confuse us further apparently BB can ask the refs to review two items on one challenge. The spot and PI. Not sure if it was a picplay/PI or other offensvie PI,. Romo basically said BB was a genius for taking advantage of kinda a loop hole. And Romo says they should have respotted it correclty by at least a yard+ and then remeasured. ok what kind of loophole did mangenious find and how would it have worked or backfired? If spot call is overturned in BB favor by respotting as I think it should have been, and PI was determined not a foul. Does BB lose the challenge or win it? He got ONE right and ONE wrong. Does he get a half a challenge returned. lol...????
  7. lol....yea Buffalonian sports fans got the patience to wait for that. Just using sports teams HX as my guide. seriously though, Buffalo, has bad weather but they are not as cold as portrayed. Not even on top 50 lists for coldest US cites. And virtually all of Canada save the West Coast are very likely significantly colder. https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/did-you-know/americas-50-coldest-cities/ar-BBPXaWn?li=BBMlO3O
  8. right this world is out of control. Last year BB radio voice of the Hawkeyes Gary Dolphin was suspended by the school(Iowa) for stating an opposing black player went beast mode at the end and that's why Iowa lost. I guess Marshawn Lynch never got the memo.
  9. she can still live there for most of the year during the off season.
  10. i get what you are saying and agree. but Montana was still pretty good with KC and took them to playoffs and AFC Championship game. Don't dissect his stats too much as that was not the prolific passing time in NFL just yet.
  11. If Marrone could have beaten Pats I would have forgiven him for any perceived slight I felt he may have given Pegs and Bills during that strange divorce. I will like anyone who keeps Pats out of Super Bowl.
  12. Dak made along throw yesterday with Huges barreling in off the right edge right into the camera on Dak with the tackle clearly having straight arm all over his neck holding him. not one mention of it by anyone.
  13. you never wan to get rid of divisions. It ends the rivalries and fight to be division winner. And all the drama that comes with that. Also would remove urgency to play well when a team is great and has playoff all but locked up mid season. Best games are must win matchups throughout season. Yes sit sucks when a very weak division winner gets a home playoff game like 7-9 Seattle back a few years ago. But that is very rare outlier. Could also be rectified by making the divisions bigger with more teams in each. Expand the league by a few teams to make that work.
  14. No. But his crimes in US if convicted would possibly cause Canada to turn him away at the border. They do this fairly often.
  15. true. we need good bacteria. Take probiotics to get more when needed. we dont need the bad bacteria.
  16. operate and surgery are sometimes interpreted a little more serious than they imply. ex: I had a small non cancerous tumor the size of a pee on my wrist protruding up and causing pain on movement. I had it surgically removed. They gave me a few shots of Novocain at the site, draped it, took a scalpel and excised it from the surface. Technically I had surgery. Most of Alex's followup surgeries where very likely just opening him up, scrapping off the infection, then washing it all with antibiotic fluid. Not making light of it. It is serious non the less and precautions had to be taken. Not a procedure to do in office as his risk for infection is/was off the charts.
  17. I think you in the wrong threads......................lol
  18. not a fan of the reds which kinda look orangish/red............but hell yeah to your idea you use on Madden! Would like to see that on the field live. Go Red, All Red, or go home. better than the red leotards with white helmet for sure. But would like to see all red with red helmet for reference as I stated above, since this color rush seems to not be going away anytime soon.
  19. never in favor of the college OT. Way too artificial scoring. My solution for NFL OT involves a radical rule.2 choices 1. eliminate OT altogether and give both teams a loss if any game ends in tie. (it is all about player safety right?) 2. still use current NFL OT rules except if still ending in a tie both teams get a loss.
  20. that game completely turned when the Int, that Zay let the CB jump over him as he watched, was incorrectly ruled a completion even after review. Zay was standing out of bounds while contacting the player and ball as the Patriot was still in the air and had not touched down at all yet. This should have been an in-completion. This led to 3 pts for Pats and changed strategy immensely going forward. Bills could have kicked a few field goals when getting close and facing 4th down instead of going for it. Bills well could have won the way Bills D was playing that day.
  21. yes. even if he hit 3 fg's. that makes it 16-14 Titans before Bills last drive is in winning field goal range. Housmoney then becomes Housemoney (FYI: I know it does not work this way because if you go back and change one thing, everything after changes too, but fun to speculate)
  22. and I just Worcestershire it was not that way.
  23. one spleen turns to the other........
  24. Zay actually contacted the Patriot and the ball as Zay was standing out of bounds. Before both feet of Patriot came down inbounds. Patriot player actually had no feet down yet when Zay contacted him. This by rule makes the Patriot player out of bounds and the call should have been an incompletion. Zay failed by not jumping for the ball and just watching the guy jump up and catch it. Zay failed by not throwing the guy out of bounds to make it clear he was out. Refs failed by not seeing this was an out of bounds player. Bills coaches failed by not knowing this. Bills coaches failed by not pointing out to refs what they wanted challenged. Replay officials failed by not overturning an obvious incompletion. Former ref Gene Steratore came on air 10 min after and discussed how refs missed this call and replay missed it also. there was enough fail in this play alone to make me wonder if a Dick Jauron game management spell has been cast on this org.
