Chiefs fans are laughing about the trade.
cba fan replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What fans seem to have lost sight of here is Bills parlayed a pick(Mahomes), who by being available at pick 10 caught the eye of a team with a QB on a treadmill going nowhere fast but consistently(Alex Smith) that they have time to develop. A developmental QB(Mahomes)that Bills NEVER intended to pick and will not play first yr or so, into 2 additional very good picks. Win for Bills. Would you rather have Lattimore, or, Smith and extra 3rd and extra 1st?? NO BRAINER by Whaley. He killed this. -
Bills trade #10 for #27, a 3rd, and 2018 1st
cba fan replied to Imissbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That 2018 has good value. Especilly if Chiefs D stops scoring all their touchdowns for them. -
Yes. Ugliness be damned if it helps reduce head trauma we all need to support it.

anyone have the draft pick selection leak?
cba fan replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They consulted Dick Jauron and result is: since they made a mistake first time they drafted this guy they are going to try again and see if they can make it work this time. Aaron Maybin is the pick. -
Great person. Good business man. Great generous donor to good causes. Terrible NFL owner.

Ironic About Coach McDermott

I too watch nearly every Mets game, whether they are good or bad matters little. Same w Bills I watch every min of every game. Baseball viewership is strong as always. I think the poster was being sarcastic. I think. -
How can I make an intelligent decision about this clandestine plan for music playing in practice without gathering all the evidence? I need to know what kind of music they are playing to make an informed opinion on the matter. Anyone know?

TT >than Brock O. Continues to be, look at the links you posted with stats it is clear TT is better. Even without TT rushing and factoring in league leading caliber D in Denver and Houston. Are you trying to say Brock<TT ? That makes more sense. Why? he can't play. He could be cut in camp. And dead cap space this year only comes into play if he is cut. So again why trade for a guy who you plan on cutting and then losing ground in 2017 2nd round? Just to look at the guy in camp?

Pats sign Gillislee to offer sheet

Or just stand pat on that 5th and draft a new longer snapper since it is an obvious need. You know let the draft come to you....... -

You lost me at "whilst" For reasons I can not explain, I can never seem to take any non-English person serious who uses that word. It is like idiots(not you) who put foreign accents on certain words or names for god only knows why. Using whilst, concur, and laurals, in one post is as crazy as Dicaprios character in "Catch Me If You Can". Well played my friend. . Carry on...... -

Pats sign Gillislee to offer sheet
cba fan replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills should match. As they can always then trade MG later, if other running backs beat him out, for a 5th rounder, since God of Gods we can make no move the media does not love Pats Bellycheat says he is worth a 5th, and 6.4 mill over two years. Not clear how much is sign bonus which would make MG even more valuable in a trade as Bills may have to eat some sign bonus. This could be a good deal for Bills especially if some high profile RB's get hurt in camp or preseason. Maybe they get a 4th then. -
Facts: Browns lost 16 mill cap space and received a 2018 2nd, 2017 6th Texans get 2017 4th. For another team to absorb O's 16 mill cap hit then Browns need to ante up. Especially considering other teams caps are more valuable as they do not have the unlimited cap Browns have. So team that takes Osweiler needs to get Browns 2017 3rd and give Browns a 2018 4th. Nobody will do that. Neither the Browns or any team. Browns acquired Osweiler for draft picks because they had cap space for sale. They don't want him. They already got the value they deserved with picks. No one wants any part of giving up cap space and picks for a waste QB. Just cut him already. Browns are operating under the folly that someone wants Osweiler as a player, he is just cap space now. Just like a NBA player who has effectively retired but his contract is traded as an expiring contract. Except Osweiler contract has no value like in NBA as cap works diff in NFL then NBA. Why would Browns give up the draft pick value they just acquired for taking Osweiler cap hit to dump that cap hit on someone else whose cap space is more expensive to use since they have less? So is more valuable. Arguably Browns should give up more than the value they got from Texans for the explicit reason is other teams cap space is more valuable as they all have less of it. If Browns do what the draft value and cap space indicate here then it is just a spinning wheel move or Browns lose more than they got from Texans for reasons mentioned above. Browns thinking is like an asshat right now, why did Browns get Osweiler at all? We all seen what they did. Do they think the rest of the league is stupid.??? This scenario is like watching two different ticket scalpers holding up signs right next to ea other outside Bills stadium: 1 says need tickets, 1 says selling tickets. They both need another sign saying "we are idiots"

One NFL team called Browns to trade for #1 to draft a QB.
cba fan replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes how would any team know a team trading up wants a QB. The team trading up sure as hell would not say. The could want Myles Garrett more likely. -
Cyrus Kouandjio involved in incident w/police; at ECMC
cba fan replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes drugs can give you Schizoaffective disorder symptoms. Especially meth. The symptoms can mostly if not all go away if you get off the drugs. If it is true Schizoaffective disorder many meds can control it. There is no cure. It can go into remission for years. It also can relapse even while on drugs that had controlled it. They need close following by psych Dr. Possible the lights of emergency vehicles and/or stress of seeing an accident could trigger an event. I hope he gets treatment and I wish him all the best. -
Pats sign Gillislee to offer sheet
cba fan replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% right. What would the media say if Bills signed TD Mike to that deal and then traded him to Pats(w same cap hits) for a 5tth. They would say Pats are geniuses and Bills are low IQ. The love affair with all things Pats will never end until Brady retires and they stop winning. -
Pats would send their 2018 5th round pick. Don't worry though. The odds of bellichick draft pick misers giving up a 5th for Gillislee are about as good as a board member having their way with Giselle Brady for one night.

Is it okay to have a second team to root for?
cba fan replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes nothing wrong with rooting for a 2nd team. Assuming you really have a 1st team. I am as die hard as any fan ever has been for Bills and Bills are #1 forever. But I also like the Jets and Cards and root for them all the time, unless if it is detrimental in any way for Bills playoff hopes etc etc.......however it is never passionate like it is with Bills winning or losing. Just seeing Bills logo or hearing about Bills gets me fired up for games. Fans that change teams every year or so are not invested and passionate about any team and don't realize the joy we get when our adopted team wins. -

PFT: McCoy's absence not contract related
cba fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OH HELL no. NO NO NO. If anyone was able to wish themselves to be someone it sure as hell would not be McCoy. It might be to wish to be a genuinely good guy with McCoy's talents, but not Shady himself and all his baggage. I am not saying he is even close to the worst NFL baggage player, but we would all wish to be better. -
Report: Seahawks Open to Trading Richard Sherman
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These players want it all. According to report Cheap Shot Sherman asked for trade than pretty much denied it to media. Then report is he would only accept trade to contender. Teams should not bow down to players like this. If he wants a trade he has a right to ask for one. Hawks should then be able to trade him to whoever offers best deal. I would make a bad GM. If player asks for trade when he has a no trade clause I would say sure. Waive the no-trade and I will trade you to team who offers the best deal. Otherwise go pound sand. If Cheap shot Sherman does not have a no trade clause I would have already traded him and let the new team worry about if he will report.
