    That's the right response from a GM of a team with a QB that has been serviceable and hovered around mediocrity for the last two years. However I think it's a near guarantee that Taylor starts week 1 and probably all season, because at this time he's the best option.

    There are a handful of 2nd and 3rd year players that could really propel this roster forward if they take big steps forward. Darby, Lawson, Miller, and Ragland could pay big dividends. Also, it's good to know that the Bills have Wood copyrighted.

    The reason the EJ was brought up was that he was drafted right before Nix stepped down as GM (with the plan in place ahead of time for Whaley to take over), so there has been a lot of debate about whether it was Nix or Whaley that had final say on that pick.

    EJ was drafted in 2013. Ralph passed away in 2014.
