We def did turn a corner, right after the GK game. But the NHL draft isn't anything like the NFL draft... maybe 1 of these drafted player plays next year, the rest go to Rochester for development. More of a keep your pipeline flowing richly kind of deal... there are only like 4 positions in hockey but in football there are many more.

This is where it would be great to have someone Beane like in the war room... but, we shall see. I'm the same, don't follow the NHL draft like football at all.

Back in the late 80's me and a bud went to an electric Hot Tuna show at Jannus Landing in St. Pete. We got there a few hours early to take it all in and walked up the stairs to the bar... a big long one. There was One guy at the bar at that time and I said "look, that's Jack Cassady".
