  1. "The # 1 pop album of 1965. This song (along with Lollipops & Roses) was used as the theme song for the television show "The Dating Game". Whipped Cream & Other Delights sold over 6 million copies in the United States and the album cover alone is considered a classic pop culture icon. It featured model Dolores Erickson wearing chiffon and shaving cream. She was three months pregnant."
  2. Now no soup for you, lol. Yeah, they had playboy and penthouse right at the front counter of the drugstores back then. She looks nice for 82... and no I would not. Album cover then was like the Farrah poster of later years.
  3. No whipped cream for you!
  4. One of the best covers of all time imo: http://coolalbumreview.com/?p=32426&fbclid=IwAR39B0Ay3Qt2MfrT54lRXb8noxQTzS6lHLqxMRad9wjEZhMnXzXB6N8JOZI
  5. Wow. One heck of a read sir, thanks.
  6. A unique view of the last time they ever played together:
  7. Like I said in the OP, Charlie Freak had "some" love in it. Sorta. I had countdown and logic backwards in the first post... even knowing my mind still goes that way lol. I guess because countdown seems a bit more advanced than logic imo. King of the world for example.
  8. Charlie Freak might have been the only song they wrote that showed some sort of empathy... Strange but incredibly talented two they were. I remember selling a CD of "Live at the Record Plant 1974" 15 years ago for $140... originals are rare as I'm sure it's been copied all over the place. Here we hear it on youtube:
  9. I think this guy got his album sequence mixed up a bit but a rather fair assessment of these two. Sad that Becker is no long with us.
  10. A taste of Honey does the same here from the first VeeJay Lp: Guess VeeJay is off the map on youtube lol.
  11. Using Florida internet... that version of Sugar Magnolia was way sped up, sounds like a cartoon... maybe should consider Alabama internet, where things are a bit slower. From the Buff... kind of stuck here for now anyways.
  12. Alafia river outside of Tampa with my sugar magnolia. Never been up that way.
  13. Funny, watching different Florida news stations with the 5pm update some call it stationary and some call it moving at 0 mph. I can't wait to get the ***** out of this hell hole of a state.
  14. The only B word is no power... you'll be able to see that on your phone.
  15. It still is, at last report anyways. If you are right on the beach I would for sure move back maybe one county... if it takes the current track. Looks to be a glancing blow, hopefully less than that. Dorian has churned up cooler water by sitting in one place for this amount of time so that helps with the slow fading of intensity.
  16. I know right. Eyewall is changing right now... need more of a northern trend although at 1 mph that could take awhile.
  17. Had no idea... makes sense though, It might just plow straight up there. Update a few minutes away.
  18. Kind of looks like snow.
  19. I think you said it about as accurately as can be told... beautiful but deadly. The guys flying into and around that thing must have nuts the size of baseballs. I "think" its taken a slight wnw turn but will wait until the 11pm update to know for sure.
  20. The view from inside of the eye earlier this afternoon...
  21. Publix?
  22. What is your plan if at all a plan? I can see folks in your area getting mesmerised by the forecast but I think a lot of bad ***** will still hit the eastern side of Fla. This is one nasty ***** to say the least, I don't recall seeing another one this perfectly designed like this killer is.
  23. Slowed down to 5 mph... https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/news/2019/08/30/tropics--dorian-could-reach-category-3-strength-on-friday
