Got one of those down here a few years ago... probably have driven past it 100 times but never stopped in. Is the fish fry any good?

You are right, it does spread. We had a lot of land though and just had it off to the side, didn't matter how much it spread. Good idea with the half barrel for people in neighborhoods though. That is one crop that you don't have to worry about bugs or animals messing with.

Everything was done outside... everybody crying too. Very easy to grow btw.

It really is... blow your head off. But, it isn't kept in the condiment aisles... could that be why you're not finding it? Just like Maries isn't either. Millers is refridgerated, usually by hotdogs, ham, that kind of stuff. Depending on where you live... I know its not Attica State Prison lol... any bakery worth its "salt" should be able to make you the rolls. Like I mentioned above, we have Publix here that will. Would think Wegmans would do the same as well.

You aren't missing much, like I said its ok... I went once and wasn't wowed. I took a little look and see that you have 3 Captain D's in your area. Now That's a place I still wish was still close to me... worth going out of your way for.

I laughed... clicked on your link and it brought up the places around here. You must have a Publix near you, you're just up the state... if you give them a day or two notice they will make Kimmelweck rolls for you. Beef on Weck is easy to make really, not much rocket science involved. I like the Millers horseradish over any other, it'll clear your sinuses out in no time.

We have Zaxby's down here... its ok, nothing great nothing bad.

It depends on the time of day I suppose. Publix is a place you have to keep your eye out for sure. Still, they will pretty much do anything to please the customer. A month ago I went on over looking for turkey thighs. They had none. Butcher comes to me and says give me ten minutes.. he took a whole turkey out of the case, did his "butchering", and presented me with two perfect ones... for around $4.00, way cheaper than if they had had them in stock. Still hitting that Aldi?

Same here... used to be Your Host but now it's Ted's and Gabriels Gate. Kind of lucky that there is a Casa Di Pizza (Elmwood strip) down here... they do Sahlens just like Ted's, right down to the Webers mustard.

Publix makes me wonder how Jersey Mike's exists. The wife went to mikes a couple of months ago for a sub and it was $11. Said she'll never go back and I don't blame her one bit. The Subway by me is pretty decent actually... maybe I'm lucky and have one of the good ones. Herb n Cheese roll is the choice here.

Used to have Dog n Suds and Arthur Treachers back home... don't have them here either but I think DNS is still around and AT is being sold at other restaurants. Have a 5 guys 1,200 feet away... have no desire to way over pay for a burger, never gone there. There is a Moe's next door to them, haven't been in at least 10 years. I'll take Steak n Shake all day long for a good burger and there are so many mom n pop authentic Mexican places around that make Moe's look and taste like dog *****.

I remember another one from over there... think the name was Bing Cherry. Always had to be right and tried to own the internet. Funny fellow, had great jokes. Glad to see that Goldenwheels still posts.

I'm pretty sure it was Gregg Pastore who made the decision to shut it down. No one had any idea at all, even the lead mod at the time Zman. What they Should have done is announced it with one day left for people to post, create their contacts with friends, etc. Also, the Sim league lost everything they had worked for Years on... although a couple of them told me that they had Some but not all backed up. Then, they should have let it go for a couple of weeks as readable without the ability to post so people could further salvage what they could. Tom Donahoe nearly had the place shut down many years earlier though... had been reading it and didn't like what he saw, and That is when the CoC on that board was born. Old time posters remember when there wasn't one. It was either that or shut it down. All water under the bridge now.
