  1. I agree on paper it might seem like a fit, but I think we'd really like someone with better hands. I also think we're looking for someone that doesn't mind picking up the blitz, I'm not sure he fits either of these roles.
  2. Mario was not even in the same universe as Bruce. Mario was a 1 trick pony that lacked motivation and took plays off. Mario was all size and strength, Bruce had all of that and finesse. His edge rush re-wrote and defined the position for the next generation. Mario had a Bull rush, and if he couldn't overpower you he surrendered. I cant even fathom that someone would think he was as talented as Bruce... he was "A Bad Man" !!!
  3. Given the previous tweets floating out there, RBBC sounds alot like the Bills! ? Don't forget how teams were having to spy JA too. This would be pretty exciting imho!
  4. Im not surprised, but also was not aware. This is a huge problem and needs to be squashed.
  5. This guy should be run out of the league, In fact he should never have a coaching job again. That's totally outrageous! Every day that passes and he is still employed says more about ownership than him at this point. This guy can't sink any lower, but ownership has a chance to set the record straight.
  6. No, you couldn't pay me enough to want that degenerate $%&tbag on our team.
  7. I'm not here to defend Star, but he isn't a FA and cutting him would undoubtedly have cap ramifications. Clearly, coach values him more than most folks here do. Without a deep understanding of Star's cap hit, I'll just have to say I trust the Process. Go Bills!
  8. He was always going to be a rotational player here with a Harry. There's no way we can pay 10mil per for a part-time player. That said, I find it hard to dislike him and wish him the best. He's getting paid and will get the playing time he's hoping for. I'll be curious what kind of numbers and impact he has this year. I think some guys actually perform better when they get to rotate out and get some rest. I suspect he may be one of those types of guys. Time will tell.
  9. If you listen carefully enough you can hear Belichick groan as he posts that.
  10. Our special teams coverage has been suspect at best the last couple of years. Adding someone considered a "Special Teams Ace" that leads the league in ST tackles over the last 4 years does NOT hurt this team. I'm pretty sure Beane has a good grasp on his cap situation. Addressing needs is good +1
  11. I was more interested in the statement that they wanted him back. It's not really an opinion. Was curious if there was any truth to this.
  12. Do we know this for certain? Obviously they didn't want him back THAT badly. These were also the same guys that wanted Byrd in a bad way. I mean Brees and Payton have been great but I don't recall NO having some standout track record with FA's.
  13. After 21 pages of reflection I'm feeling pretty stoked. I think the deep draft, my desire for Ruggs, the skewed Hopkins deal, and late hour was clouding my judgement. I guess I was also initially concerned with the cost, and his rumored attitude. Glad you guys have cleared that up for me. His contract, especially in comparison to Coopers deal really sets this straight. Gotta love a guy with his skill set and ability to make contested catches . Go Bills!
  14. How am I gonna get any work done today? Make a move already Beaner!
  15. I'm good with this. Besides I attend the draft every year from the comfort of my couch A delay would stretch out my draft anxiety unnecessarily lol. Also, I'm probably the only one that does not care for the rabid Goodell booing every year. It was funny for a year or two, now it's old and just bad optics imho.
  16. Wait... What? are you making the case that the trade for Shady was a bad deal? Also, Im pretty sure he helped break a 17 year playoff drought. Color me confused. ?

  18. This has kinda been the case with passing in general over the last decade or so. They've made it soo hard for defenders during this time that passing stats aren't what they used to be. Look at guys like Stafford, Rivers, Winston, Ryan, Goff etc etc etc... this list goes on and on. Look at the numbers these guys put up, none of which I would consider elite yet seasonal numbers dwarf some of the true greats. Let's not even look at the receiving numbers guys have put up either. We'll get over it in time and we'll all have all these things to argue about for years to come. ?
  19. Does this mean Kirksey can sign now Make a decision already! ?
  20. IDK about the best PSA ever, but listening to that made me want to clear my throat. Might make for a better stop smoking ad, or stop yelling ad.
  21. Here's to hoping Dawson Knox can mirror the greatest WR of all-time. Also while JR had a tough rookie season, he didn't learn to catch in the pro's. He was one of the most prolific college receivers of the time. 66 balls as a sophmore, 102 as a Jr, and 112 his senior year. " He became a standout receiver and acquired the nickname "World" due to "his ability to catch anything near him." Again, Im not bashing Knox but it's not exactly apples to apples. JR had more catches as a college sophmore than Knox has had in sum total of his Career at this point.
  22. I'd grade that position group a "C" at best. I unlike most of this board am not terribly high on Knox. I just don't think pro's learn to catch @ 23yrs of age. I see him as a liability in the passing game and he was 2nd fiddle to Lee Smith in the running game. I'm certain he'll make a couple of splashy plays again this year and this board will go crazy over his potential. I don't want bash him, and I hope he proves me wrong, but until then this group is a "C". I still think the real gem here may be Sweeney. I'm disappointed we didn't see more of him last year and I hope he gets more opportunities this year. Go Bills!
  23. I'm no scout for certain, but I worry that he hasn't had to make alot (or any) contested catches. In his highlights he's always wide open. I don't expect this to be the norm for him in the NFL. He'll probably see more press coverage and over the top help, especially if he's moves into the #1 WR spot here. I certainly wouldn't complain if we landed him, but I'll be watching this closely if we do. Thankfully we have Beane and I trust him more than any GM we've had to date. Go Bills!
  24. That's pretty awesome, he didn't want to miss out on what we have going on here in Buffalo. Man, this gets me fired up!
