Are the Patriots now the drought-era Bills?
babulator replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They're already on the Chiefs Wagon. I never met a KC fan in my life...that is, until recently. lol -
Time and clock management is such a huge part of games in the modern NFL and running and holding onto the ball is a large part or that. Simply put, running effectively is one of the best ways to close out games. We don't want to shift to a run heavy team, but when we run, we should be more effective.

Moral Victories and Character issue players

Dan Orlovsky had a pretty good breakdown of Romans predictability here:

So What are your predictions for Duke vs. Jets
babulator replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well it won't be hard for him to perform better than Knox, so there's that. Josh will target him, Duke will come down with 2 catches for 15 yards. -
I'd like to see Moss featured tomorrow...
babulator replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IDK maybe its his toe, but he does not look good. He doesn't hit the hole with any purpose, can't make anyone miss, and I'm still waiting to see him power over or through someone. Singletary is the guy without question. -
Quinton Spain released; signs with Bengals PS
babulator replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The stars and moons aligned on this one. Spain fell in the pecking order, Mongo is coming back, so used what leverage he could to get out. We clearly have bigger issues than worrying about appeasing a disgruntled backup. No sense letting that cancer start to fester. Im sure Beane started making calls immediately after the foot soreness. That's the kind cancer that needs to get rooted out immediately, especially if his contract allows you to do so. -
I actually thought Lawson was gonna sign a much bigger deal and was content to let him walk and was sad to lose Jordan. I towed the "In Beane We Trust" line too. We should have kept both looking back. Jerry certainly hasn't helped the situation, and maybe Star not playing this year changes things too, but i wish we had these guys back for sure.

Hindsight is obviously 20/20 but given what we invested in our D Line this past off season it looks we should have made a better effort to keep Jordan and Shaq. Neither one of them broke the bank and we could have made some wiggle room with releasing Trent etc etc. I'm not saying they were world beaters but, they were better and were also vocal locker room leaders. I didn't cry about these moves at the time but perhaps I should have. 😔

Well, this has definitely got my mind off the loss... Get'r Done Beaner! Go Bills! -
Stefon Diggs first Buffalo media session 8/5
babulator replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, im sold. He handled this interview like a pro. He didn't dump on his former team & handled Vic's lazy question (& others) and reset that malcontent narrative nicely. He's obviously a hard worker, has charisma and appears to have the right mindset. I could see a Diggs Jersey in my future -
Trey Adams releases his own Bills hype video
babulator replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's young and apparently fired up to be on the Bills, I love it!. We don't have to like his choice of music or content, just remember what it was like to be young Good for him, and hopefully good for us! Go Bills! -

Jay Glazer: I will break big, national news tomorrow
babulator replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've seen Waters a handful of times of the years, his last appearance in Buffalo was great, except for his 15 minute rant against the Donald. The light and stage show was second to none (and Ive seen em all). Oops was supposed to be a multi quote...whatever lol -
Jay Glazer: I will break big, national news tomorrow
babulator replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm pretty sure Jay has a vast network of contacts. I know he's been brought in to train with teams, and he currently co-owns a MMA gym w/ B. Urlacher. Their focus is training NFL players. I know this article is a few years old now, but he's been actively doing this for for several years now. No clue what his breaking news is, but he's been pretty reliable and again he has a vast network of connections. https://www.si.com/nfl/2015/07/24/jay-glazer-mma-training-nfl "Glazer says he has had 30 players in-house for workouts. Some, such as Eagles tackle Lane Johnson, are trying go from starter to Pro Bowler. Some, such as veteran 49ers running back Reggie Bush, are trying to prove they still have it. Some, such as burgeoning Giants star Odell Beckham Jr., are working on very specific skills. " "This offseason, the regulars include a mix of established stars (Eagles RB DeMarco Murray, Cardinals DE Calais Campbell), veterans looking to break through (Lions RB Joique Bell, Falcons DE Tyson Jackson, Washington S Dashon Goldson), young players hoping to build Pro Bowl futures (Eagles TE Zach Ertz, Giants OT Justin Pugh, Falcons DT Ra’Shede Hageman) and role players aiming to climb a depth chart (Giants DT Markus Kuhn, Washington S Jeron Johnson, Jaguars LB LaRoy Reynolds)." -
5th year option on Allen or bid on Watson in FA in 22
babulator replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's totally out of the realm of reality that it doesn't deserve a thoughtful response on it's merits. It does however make me question my decision to click on this thread. You're right, though, I'm over it. ?♂️ -
5th year option on Allen or bid on Watson in FA in 22
babulator replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whats wrong with people? We have the best Front office, Coach, and Team we've had in decades. We've made the playoffs 2 out of 3 years under the new regime. By all accounts we're poised to have another playoff season and more. We've dug ourselves out of salary cap hell. We are one of the bright spots across the NFL and are generating some real buzz. We have a team of young and up and coming stars. We have a draft coming up pretty soon, etc. etc. etc. and THIS is what you come up with? It's F'n mind boggling. -
Great article on Dion Dawkins
babulator replied to Clemfield2622's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I find it hard to root for self absorbed knuckleheads, even if they're suiting up for our beloved Bills. Conversely, Dion's the type of guy that keeps me around and cheering wildly, year after year. I really do love this team as much, or more than any that have come before them. They're building something special here and I wouldn't trade them for any other group in the league. Go Bills! -
IDK Tyrod has his limitations but he's a class act, and an elite athlete. While I found him frustrating at times, I also found him easy to root for and I have no issues sporting my Taylor jersey . I also think he'll be an improvement over the Phillips of last year just with his ball security alone. Given the right team (Ravens, Cards come to mind) and/or proper support (OC and HC) I don't see any reason why he cant be a playoff caliber QB. He'll always hold a place in my Bills fandom. Breaking The Drought was no easy task, ask all those that failed before him. I'll be watching for him when I can. Go Bills!
