  1. Whatever happens with Tremaine it's clear he's not a very good football player. Sure, he's a freak athlete with freakish measurables and all the right intangibles, except the one that he needs more than all of the rest. He has poor football instincts. If you watch his run defense it's mind numbingly bad. If there's a hole to shoot, gap to plug, running back to stop he nearly always makes the wrong call. The amount of times he just runs out of place or out of the way is infuriating. He has poor instincts (in the run game) and/or poor vision on a level that just can not be corrected at or on this stage in his career. Tremaine is not the answer and should not be resigned.
  2. I too still lament the Ronnie Harmon dropped pass, and the super bowl losses and all of it. But this years losses have been particularly bitter for me. IDK, probably just the combination of renewed hope and lofty expectations have made it pretty hard to swallow. I guess it takes me til Wednesday before I can even start to turn the page. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little more worried about the next page than I was the last.
  3. I was a huge Spielman fan and was soo psyched when we signed him. Some of you old timers may remember him opting to play through his torn pectoral for us. What a warrior! Congrats Chris!
  4. I feel like in Minnesota he was fighting for recognition and attention, respect maybe even. With an aloof QB a run heavy attack and a WR ahead of him, I feel like as good as he is, he was fighting for those opportunities and the teams respect (coaches and QB more than anything). Here, he obviously doesn't have to fight for it and so he's found a his comfort zone. He's clearly the #1 on the team, he has a great relationship with his QB and we're now a pass heavy attack. The team and the fans have embraced him and his coach is a straight shooter. It's easy to see the stark contrast between the two situations and is no wonder why he's gone on to do the things he has. Add a legitimate chance to win one and yeah... night and day. He's clearly a guy that wears his emotions on his sleeve and his teammates rally behind him. I'm happy for him and us. Go Bills!
  5. I'm not going to get into the hypotheticals about stats and draft position etc., but I share your enthusiasm for him. He's off to a pretty good start and seems to be a pretty good fit here. For a "project" guy he's already producing at a premium position on his rookie deal. He seems like a coachable kid with a bright future. I'm a fan. Go Bills!
  6. No thanks. Besides the fact that he's unlikeable, he'll get paid way more than he's worth. I think 2 years (from his mvp season) is a long time in the NFL. Reevis, or Norman, or Shady or any number of guys can attest to how quickly times can change. I'm not saying he's done but given what he'll get paid, his persona and the fact that he's on the other side of his career, I say no thanks.
  7. Welp, Micah is our leading tackler with 17. The rookie lineman has 11 tackles and leads the team in sacks (2). I'm not sure what more you're expecting out of a 1st year player that didn't play last year. I think he's off to a solid start, I like the pick more now than when we drafted him. He's bigger than I thought and a pretty likeable kid. I see good things for him in the future. Go Bills!
  8. There's a ton of good places for pizza but I think if you're looking for an authentic "Buffalo" pizza I think you go with tradition, Bocce or La Nova. Casa, and Franco's and Blasdell and all those other places are great too. I think the Anchor Bar is worth a trip too, the original one on Main St. They still make a great beef on weck and obviously it's where wings began. I'd put Gabriels Gate's wings on par with them as well. They're my favorite wing spots in town. Go Bills!
  9. Pretty awesome pic! +1 Go Bills!
  10. Jeepers that article and last line gets me fired up! “I want to go all the way. And I’ll do whatever it takes to get there.” Pretty excited to see some more Gabe this year. Go Bills!
  11. You're speaking my language! "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" err.... I mean Git'r done Beane. Go Bills!
  12. It appears Tom ran himself aground last week * He's like 10 seconds into the vid.
  13. I love it! I remember Mr. Touchdown buying drinks for me and some friends @ Mannequins back in the day. He was sooper nice and engaging back then. Cool story bro!
  14. My family still makes this reference regularly. My mother thought it was the greatest call ever lol.
  15. He obviously loves football and has a chance to get some snaps, good for him. He's keeping the dream alive! 🏈
  16. I'm a guy that knows better than to throw that kind of opportunity away 3 times. I'll try not to laugh the next time i read his name in the news. (It's inevitable) 😆
  17. Well... he had the golden goose and couldn't get out of his own way to get the egg. He was more interested in getting stoned and stuffing his face than maximizing his potential. When given a 2nd and 3rd chance he blew those too. Given his propensity for poor decisions and lack of seriousness in his career, I'd say it's a pretty good guess. I'd wager this clown is next to broke now, the CFL is not exactly a cash cow and money goes fast. He signed with us the Steelers and the Argo's none of which were big money deals. Yeah he's about broke by now I'd wager. I've never heard of or seen anything in his history or behavior that would lead me to believe different.
  18. The lack of a combine doesn't help much. Watching the position groups compete, specifically the skill positions help my armchair GM'ing considerably
  19. Good stuff, how can you not love the Shnow man! ⛄
  20. We're making the best of it, and I'm not hating on him. He'll need a couple of solid seasons for us to pick up his 5th year though. I think we'll draft Edge this year and likely a DT. So without complaining, I think Beane already has his radar on this and a plan of action.
  21. What other player gets the luxury of saying "if he had a better player next to him" he'd shine. This is the NFL, players move around and get asked to play out of position at times. I don't remember saying this about KW. If you're selected #9 overall, you need to find a way to contribute more. On and off the stat sheet. I'm not hating on Ed, but saying I'm disappointed doesn't quite cut it either. We need more from Ed or he won't be around much longer.
  22. Beane has definitely put us in a position to do whatever he wants. He can easily take the BPA without any glaring holes, and it looks like we could land someone worthwhile at Edge or CB. With our core in tact and under contract he could move up and grab someone if he really covets them (not likely). Or he could move back a few places and find a value pick(s). Depending on where Beane see's our needs and mostly how the draft unfolds. I can't remember having this kind of flexibility in the draft in a long while. (ever?) Go Bills! '
  23. I feel like there's more potential with Breida. There's definitely not room for both.
  24. There likely won't be any top tier rushers when we pick. I would not trade up for anybody in this draft and I'm not sure Ossai or anyone else makes it down to us. Would you draft 2nd or 3rd round talent with your 1st pick? That's likely the situation we'll be in. We'll probably take a corner with our 1st pick but id up for trading back for Friermuth.
  25. I wanted JA all the way up until draft day, then I felt like I wanted Darnold. All the talking heads probably wore me down rofl. I never liked Baker or Rosen.
