  1. I don't think his accuracy issues are correctable in the pros. Lots of people try to compare him to Watson and I just don't see it. I had Watson graded as a top 5 selection. Jackson is my 8th ranked QB this year. I honestly would not draft him before the end of the second round at the earliest.
  2. Also I think Phillip will end up being an all-pro DT. I would be happy with him in the 1st. If we get him in the second that could be the type of value to get us on the path to become competitive with the Pats.
  3. They could. It is pretty much the same trade we got from KC last year. We offer the 21st and our 1st next year. They were moving up from 27 though, so I don't think we would need the 3rd.
  4. I would sign up for this right now. 4 starting caliber NFL players imo. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-two-round-mock-draft-two-teams-trade-up-steelers-find-qb-of-future/
  5. Same, I would take a whole defence and oline from Wisconsin and Iowa.
  6. I definitely would not. That was the first time I have experienced the playoffs as a Bills fan. We most likely would have not been able to sign Davis or Ivory without that playoff run either. I do think McDermott did a good job establishing a winning culture in year 1. As nice as it would be to have an early pick to get a QB, recent history has shown a lot of good QBs that have been ranked 5th or worse in their draft class. This is a very deep QB class so I would not be surprised if one or two of the under the radar QB prospects became franchise QBs.
  7. This guy is an unbelievable talent, he might be the best jump ball player I have seen coming out of the draft. It would not surprise me at all if he went in round 1.
  8. Thats the problem with all those big network guys. They end up all picking the same top 5 and just rearranging them. It is refreshing to get some other opinions because all the teams probably have very different opinions on players.
  9. That was impressive accuracy though.
  10. Very impressive for Rosen and Mayfield. I thought Jackson had a bigger arm than that. That is another red flag for him with the accuracy issues. The other guys didn't have great arms on tape so I am not surprised. There are not many pocket passers that make it with low velocity. I would be a little worried expecting Falk or Lauletta to be anything more than backups. I still think Rudolph has a chance though.
  11. Pretty sure we argued about this last year with Watson and he proved everyone wrong. Watson had the athletic ability and accuracy to make up for it though.
  12. Obviously that would be nice. I don't know how we would get all of those guys. Are you predicting Rosen falling to us at 21? Hernandez at 22? and using both of our 2nd rounds to trade up for Chark?
  13. It would be great if Rosen had a big fall on draft day. Patience would pay off huge for us in that case.
  14. This, in terms of making the playoffs lets hope he picks an NFC team. I would honestly be shocked if McDermott like Mayfield as a prospect. I don't think he has he personality this staff is looking for in their franchise QB.
  15. I think out of all of the top 8 QBs in the draft, Jackson would be the least exciting for me. His accuracy is a huge red flag for me.
  16. Darnold is my number 1 so I would hope for him. Rosen has durability concerns which is the main reason I have him at number 2.
  17. I think we will, but it will be a developmental guy in the 4th or the 5th. RB injuries are so common, you would like to have 4 guys who can play.
  18. It is awesome having a competent GM
  19. I hope we get Darnold in that scenario
  20. There are definitely going to be a couple QBs that go way lower than expected on draft day. I think one of the big 4 will fall out of the top ten. You are probably right about one of the second tier guys dropping as well. It could even be Lamar Jackson. I have Falk going way lower than people expect.
  21. Beane and McDermott are not the type of guys that let their QB rankings leak.
  22. Definitely a possibility. This is not how I have the QBs ranked, but what I think will happen. Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield- top 15 White, Rudolph, Jackson- in round 2 Woodside and Lauletta- round 4-5 Benkert and Falk- round 5-6 Litton and Ferguson- 7-UDFA
  23. Well CBS has Rudolph and Jackson as the top QB prospects. NFL.com has a lot of different people. Jerimiah and Mayock have 2nd or 3rd round grades on him. http://optimumscouting.weebly.com/
  24. Which scouting reports are those? Inside the pylon and optimum scouting disagree.
  25. If our coaching staff is any good we could be successful with Foles. I still can't believe what he did to Minnesotas D in the playoffs.
