This has more to do with the Bills than NE, I still think they are a very good team.

I hope that is how it turns out. I would like to see the Bills and the Browns have good QBs and win some division titles. Both good fan bases that deserve better.

I would be all for signing Barr to play a similar role to Zo. I would like oline with that 1st round pick and a WR with the 2nd round though.

The Bills are going to come out flying, I know that much. The Pats will be in trouble if they can’t match our intensity.

Also, I expected Mayfield to be Better than Allen the first couple years. He started way more games in college. We won’t really know who is better between the two until year three. Allen has been progressing every game and I expect him to make a big jump this offseason.

Allen carried that Wyoming team to a lot of wins. They sucked this year without him. He had a bad oline, WRs, and RBs his last year in college. A QB needs help to be successful. A lot of college teams would lose be 20 points to Bama even with Tom Brady as the QB because they are completely outmatched at the other positions.

Buffalo’s oline is not better than Arizona’s. Allen is just more mobile and moves in the pocket well. Rosen’s biggest flaw is mobility so he can’t do anything with bad oline play. Also the reason Russell failed was he didn’t even bother to learn the playbook. Who knows if he could have been good if he actually cared.

That’s awesome and it is an exciting time to be a Bills fan.

Thats awesome! Allen’s first few games are definitely going to drag his rating down a lot. I would expect him to make a big leap in your rankings next season.

Everyone is trying to fit these rookie QBs into there predraft rankings right now. I had Rosen as the number 2 QB and I am regretting that ranking right now. I would say Darnold has looked solid. Jackson has created a dominant rushing team, I don’t know if that is sustainable long term. Allen and Mayfield have elevated the play of the offensive players around them. Rosen has done some decent thing but has way too many negative plays. Why don’t you show why Rosen has the second best film? A statement like this is useless. There is a right and a wrong opinion here. Not everyone is going to be correct. Which shows Allen is elevating the play of his teammates. He probably still has less offensive talent around him compared to Rosen.

Do you create that yourself? That looks like a ton of work. That would make sense for rankings using analytics.

Watching a lot of QB film (mostly college) for the past 8 years. I feel I have a good sense for a legit QB.

I’m confident Allen is going to be special. I have no issue writing that prediction on here as I’m right more often than not. We will see who’s opinion is right in 3 years. Interested to see what he says if the Bills beat the Pats this week and I think there is a good chance that happens as well.

I think his opinion is wrong and bias like most of the national media with Josh Allen. We will find out in year 3. If you want good coverage on players and teams you have to go local. What are his credentials for evaluating film? You seem to respect him.

I have not. Nobody really has time to watch everyone on film including this guy from SI. Darnold has put some good games out there. I would find it hard to believe a QB leading the league in pick sixes has better film than the other guys in a really strong rookie class. And Allen has put some really good plays on film the last four weeks and there is no bias there, they are just impressive NFL plays.

The bolded words don’t really change anything for me. He is saying that Rosen has better film than Allen because in no world does he have more potential. It’s a predraft bias and it makes me sceptical he has even watch Allen’s film.

I have trouble buying you watch film and have Rosen ranked as the number 2 rookie QB.

This is the same guy that had Josh Allen ranked 5th out of the rookie QBs today. He work is useless.
