  1. Theres maybe 3 DTs in the NFL that are game changers. If you don’t have decent DTs, maybe 3-5 teams you will struggle to stop the run. If you make a list of the most important positions DT is way down there for me.
  2. I’m not saying we should draft him but he was productive. He played in 6 full games this year. His yardage totals were 81, 93, 92, 102, 37, and 115. Now his reception totals were not high. He will never be the WR that is going to be a chain mover. He is a home run hitter. He will probably end up being between Tyrell Williams (floor) and Randy Moss (ceiling).
  3. I really hope we draft Jawaan Taylor. It is starting to look like he will go before our pick unfortunately. I would be happy with Oliver, White, or Hockenson though.
  4. I like it, I think Jawaan Taylor should be our first choice though.
  5. Aaron Maybin ran a 4.89 at the combine. Maybe we should have paid more attention to his athletic ability.
  6. I don't believe the DT position has a huge impact on games. Oliver may have the pass rush ability to make an impact. I would much prefer Jawaan Taylor but it is looking like he might go top 5. Oliver would be a nice consolation prize.
  7. As a Ducks fan, I wasn't super impressed with him. All he caught was WR screens, other than that that he couldn't get separation against us. I think Butler has a chance to be a legit number 1 WR. I'm hoping we get him in round 2.
  8. It depends how good your one trick is. They said the same thing about Randy Moss and he still got by them. Also, if they are that scared deep you will have a 10 yard hitch open all day. I'm not sure I would take him at nine but I do think he would fit well into our offense. Especially with Allen's arm, you can only cover deep for so long.
  9. Metcalf is a unique talent. He is a very limited route runner and if that is what a team asks him to do he might not be successful. I still think he could be a Randy Moss type of player. Just let him run vertical routes and throw it up. That style could work well with Josh Allen too. It's nice to finally have a GM smarter than the people on a message board. That should not be hard, but we have had people on here with much better success at projecting players than previous regimes.
  10. I would be happy with a trade down as long as Jawaan Taylor is off the board. If he is there I would need a huge haul to move down.
  11. I would love to have him. He looks like a mix of John Brown and Wes Welker. I wonder if he will be available in round 3?
  12. I'm expecting a guard, which is the position that I think Williams will play in the NFL. Saffold in FA and Taylor in round 1 would be my ideal offseason. Hockenson and Williams probably go in the mid teens. I think Hockenson is the better prospect though.
  13. I would definitely take Hockenson over Williams. I think Taylor should be our number 1 choice. If he is off the board then Metcalf or Oliver should be the pick. If all three are off the board Hockenson should be in play for the selection.
  14. I’m glad to hear about his 3 cone, I was a little disappointed by his 40 time. I was hoping he was a 4.6 guy. If we come out of round 1 with Taylor, Metcalf, or Hockenson I will be happy.
  15. Ertz would be a good comparison for him
  16. I would rather spend on DT in free agency and take Taylor at 9 to shore up RT. Ideally, we add a G like Saffold in free agency and a DT like McCoy (hoping he is released). I would love to add Humphrey’s in free agency and Butler in round 2 to fix WR. I think we should continue to add to the oline in round 3. If we could get a C like McCoy from A&M in that round. That would be an ideal offseason for me.
  17. Disappointing 40 time for him. Probably drops him out of the top 15.
  18. Better than I thought too. I still think he goes early round 2 though.
  19. I think I am all in on Jawaan Taylor for the draft. He has a good chance to be an all pro RT.
  20. Really? He averaged over 7 ypc in his first three seasons and had a 2000 yard rushing season. He didn’t look quite as good this past season but there was probably an underlying injury. It was definitely debatable who was the better back when they were in the same backfield. I watched them both dominate the PAC 12.
  21. I would love to have him, he played just as well as McCaffery imo.
  22. He said at least 21 points. That is a minimum, not an average.
  23. I think he will be the Bills pick unless we trade down then I think Risner will be the guy.
  24. I don’t think all those dline man are top ten talents. I would expect some of those guys to drop on draft day.
  25. Really 0% chance? Where did you pull that number out of? He is is the best TE prospect in the NFL draft since I started following the draft closely in 2004. He is a lock for top 15 with a good shot at the top 10. Your view is outdated.
