    I remember when people were livid with us signing Poyer. I was happy because I thought he was great in college. This is is a solid TE2 with upside. I don’t really see any difference between him and James. Kroft has a bit more injury concern I guess.

    How long have you watched football? Overreacting on day 1 of free agency is ridiculous. Name one team in the last 20 years that won free agency and dominated the regular season that year? I will wait.

    We had no cap space last year. Those are not the type of signings we will see this year. Those are camp body signings which is why most of them have been released.

    If you pay attention to how the good teams are built you can see the Bills following that model. Teams that spend big in free agency fail at a very high percentage. Spend smart in free agency and build through the draft. That is how you win.

    You need more than 3 in today’s NFL. It’s a great signing, now we can still play at a high level if someone gets injured. The bigger need signings will come.

    No you just need to scout well so you are paying someone on the upswing of their career and not the downswing. See Hyde and Poyer.

    This front office just gets it. Very excited to see how the rest of free agency goes. Great CB4, we don’t need to add one in the draft now.

    Glad we have Beane as the GM. Getting players is important, but getting players with cap friendly contacts is how you sustain success.

    I slept worse the night I thought we traded for him haha Also, the Steelers have lost plenty of good old WRs before and they always replace them with a mid round pick that become great. I’m sure that will happen again, that is how winning organizations work.

    Nope, I was not happy that we were trading for Brown. I would have accepted it at the right price, but that was not the move I wanted us to make. I have lots of Steelers fan friends, they know I wasn’t happy. They were also fine with him leaving.

    I like that Beane sets a value on players and doesn’t go over that. I trust that he will build a championship team. We have a good vision right now.

    No the Patriots laid out a blue print. If you want a dynasty that is the way to do it. It’s just really difficult to duplicate.

    My guess is he end up with around a 1000 yards, he is going to have a drop off for sure.

    Brandon Beane didn’t want to pay that contact imo. Brown probably didn’t want to come here either. Flashy moves like that have a very low success rate. This team will still be set up for the playoffs this year without Brown. Just be patient it is going to be a good offseason.

    Sign me up, that would be perfect. We would have a very good offence next year if that is our line. That would be solid too, not quite as good as the OP line imo. Also I would flip Williams and Dawkins. I wouldn’t trust Williams as our LT but he has pro bowl potential at G.
