  1. If we get Cunnigham in the second this defence is going to be in great shape next year. I am hoping for Chad Hansen and Eddie Jackson in the third.
  2. It is an nfl.com mock draft where you try to predict the entire first round.
  3. I would be happy with any of those 5 tomorrow.
  4. Last chance if anyone else wants in.
  5. He might end up being the best WR in the draft. He also happens to be the best third down RB in the draft as well. We don't know how creative Denison is yet but with the right OC McCaffrey will be dominant. He fits the versatility that we like in players as well. He also has the best jump cut since Shady McCoy.
  6. Good news!! Still hope we have a chance to take him at 10.
  7. 1) Hooker 2) Thomas 3) Garrett 4) Watson 5) Howard 6)Adams 7) Reddick 8) Lattimore 9) Barnett 10) McCaffery Probably a lot different than most but those are my guys.
  8. I think Watson has phenominal accuracy. By far the best in the class for short and intermediate throws. I completely disagree with anyone that says other wise. He does have very inconsistent deep ball accuracy, I think he will get that under control in the NFL. His floor is Alex Smith imo. I still think we are going QB at 10 based on the visits.
  9. If Whaley trades up for any QB they better beat out Taylor in training camp and take us to the playoffs next year. If he trades up and the QB is not a franchise guy he deserves to be fired.
  10. I think Foster is a much better fit at MLB and he might end up being one of the best in the game. I think Ragland has a shot to be one of the best MLB's in the league, so Foster does not fit a need. IMO Cunningham and Reddick would be much better fits for WLB and both of those guys are special as well.
  11. I never really thought about it but we do need a RT and you can't find one later in this draft. That is 3 OTs we have brought in now. Robinson, Bolles, and Humphrey don't look like top ten picks though. Maybe we will trade down this year!
  12. You can't discount the TDs either, the guy have 50 combined. 50/17 is not a bad ratio, that is +43.
  13. There is no reason for the Bills to be cheap here. TD Mike has played great for us and might be the top backup RB in the league. We have lots of cap room right now.
  14. Then that would be the worst move in Buffalo Bills history. I would classify Howard as elite, he is the best TE prospect in the last decade imo. We will be lucky if he is there at 10.
  15. I don't see it playing out this way. We have shown interest in a QB. If anything, those teams are going to trade with Carolina or the Bengals to jump us for their guy. I don't see a smokescreen helping us in a trade down scenario but it may help a guy drop to us if we don't like any of the QBs. Houston made try to trade up with us, but if we like the Qb on the board at that pick we are going to draft him.
  16. If we draft a Qb we better bring them along slow and build an offence around them. We have not shown the ability to do that in the past.
  17. Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Tyler Scalzi, FB Luke Stice worked out Mon. for Bills' Terry Pegula, Sean McDermott, Jim Monos, per source We worked out all the Qbs other than Watson now. Still looks like they want to find their franchise guy this year.
  18. Assuming Garrett, Hooker, Thomas, Fournette, Lattimore, and Adams are off the board. Who are your five guys that you are hoping we take on day 1? Here is my list: 1) Deshaun Watson 2) OJ Howard 3) Derek Barnett 4) Haason Reddick 5) Mike Williams I would be happy with Jonathan Allen as well.
  19. I agree with what your saying, ideally Watson is a second round prospect. I do think he will go in round 1 though. I would only draft him if my coaches were comfortable they could improve his velocity with mechanics as well. I don't think the Bills will draft him, he would probably do better in a dome environment like Houston. The ball velocity could be an issue in our stadium but a non-issue in a dome stadium. I just think when you take in the whole picture Watson is still a good prospect even with the low velocity.
  20. More Qb interest, it will be interesting to see who the Bills draft.
  21. There is no doubt that Watson does not have a huge arm. There is no way his arm is worse than Brees or Bridgewater though. Watson has shown the ability to make all the throws on tape, he has outstanding ball placement on short and intermediate throws. He gets the ball out quick with anticipation which may make up for his lack of arm strength. You see the same thing with Drew Brees. His arm strength passes the eye test. http://pass2win.com/ball-velocity-exposing-the-power-qb.html Here is a good article on ball velocity. I think it is a pretty useless metric. There are not many good Qbs on this list, it shows no good QBs with a ball velocity of above 57mph and below 53mph. They did mention Drew Brees was around 52mph (in the NFL) which mean he was probably around 50mph or less when entering the NFL. I see Watson as a comparable touch thrower to Brees when he was coming out. Although, Watson had a better college career which is why he will go in the first round and not the second round.
