I agree Iikely another RB will be signed but don't know whether by draft or FA/trade. Moss, like Devin improved later in the season when they finally figured the best OL line-up that worked the best and also Daboll finally started giving both RB's a lot more opportunities...so Moss could look much better next season So in regards to Moss, I know he hasn't shown quite what some thought and hoped, but I do consider lack of opportunities and poor OL play for majority of season played a sizable part as reason for poor rushing game. I agree though competition can bring out the best in a player so we will see.

Ah ok, I see how it could in a game like Bills-KC where both offenses can't be stopped.

I'm not sure I follow....basically just taking away the TD wins it rule and letting opposing offense get a chance to match that TD. I don't quite see how a team winning coin flip would factor in very much in that instance. Unless I'm misunderstanding something (which happens sometimes with me). But when changing nothing but that particular rule and that's it, I don't see the major advantage to coin flip if other team gets a chance to score a TD also...

Anyway, I'm just saying that maybe that has a little to do with why some of these teams believe he did well here and considered a starter. I mean surely they aren't going off his work with last season as Bears QB. If they think he's improved now then it has to be from his season with Bills

True, but slight difference lol...and I'm not advocating for any PS performance by any means, imo the few games he came in relief he was great. One he got close to entire 4th quarter if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, I think it's possible teams look at him as learning more and performed well in Bills offense. Also had better players around him helped too. He didn't have all that much with Bears

Just to add, I will say though that if knowing all there is to know about his health and if Bills (or me in this case as pretend GM) feel satisfied enough to the point he's good to go and confident in his availability.....in such a scenario I would offer a 5th with possible negotiation of a 4th at very best. Also would have to be willing to re-work contract. Wouldn't want to be paying quite that much as it's listed here.

Yeah it only makes all the sense in the world. Although im sure there's a few that would vote against it. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if someone like Jerry Jones ended up voting no

They can do that when he's under contract? Well I guess they could if he decided to hold out and not play or something because in that case he would not be honoring the contract if he doesn't play? Not sure how all that stuff can work out. But yeah he definitely went about this the wrong way and gives him a bad look.

The few times he was able to finish out games he did great and took advantage of those opportunities. I assume that's part of reason some GM's/FO's etc may consider taking a chance on him believing he has learned and improved during his time with Bills and think he can do well if having a decent surrounding cast similar to what Bills have.
