2nd Half Defense: What Happened
Patrick Duffy replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Steelers are a good team. They adjusted appropriately enough to move the ball. Offense/play calling/etc just couldn't do enough. -
Losing to the Steelers was a blessing in disguise
Patrick Duffy replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I didn't call you wacky...I just disagreed. But yeah, sometimes you just get those gut feelings at times. I know I have also before. Lol, sometimes those bad feelings are wrong and other times right. So ya just never know. Lol, hope you're feeling a little different about the Fins game... -
Maybe some, but I'm not one. I was happy with how the D played even with the 2nd half not being as good. I thought the D certainly did well enough to win the game.

Well, if they're going to lose an AFC game like this, then least it was the 1st game and early.. Looks like @Logicgut feelings leading up to the Steelers game had merit lol -
I hope to see Bills run the ball more and get a little more balanced, but being familiar with Daboll they probably won't very much.

Daboll on what went right/wrong
Patrick Duffy replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure, but I wasn't too crazy about the way Daboll called that game. Hope to see not only better play calling, but also better execution and would like to see more of the ground game. -
That's going to make it even harder to defend than he already is. Awesome!

Looking like everyone will be good to go for the most part. That's great

White trash: Central Florida style
Patrick Duffy replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall
Seems like when the "White trash" threads pop up it's in Florida a lot -
I get it....that Pats game was 2 years ago and imo Big Ben isn't exactly aging like Tom Brady has/is lol. Not saying he can't throw all over Bills D because he is certainly capable. We'll see how much time he gets with the questionable and young OL this season.

Just came across the post with reasons why you pick Steelers to win. I agree they have come out little too excited in some big situations like this at times. I feel like (least I hope) a lot of them have enough experience now to keep that in check. I'm not concerned about the Ben being better since it's early and all that stuff. As to Harris, it depends how that OL does with the new guys and rookie C and LT. If they are struggling Harris won't do but so much, at least on the ground. I expect to likely see their OL have some issues with the noise and make some mistakes. I agree Tomlin is a excellent coach and will have them ready. But imo Bills will get hot at some point and pull away enough for a win

Taiwan Jones - Elite Gunner and now Captain
Patrick Duffy replied to DasNootz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Defense was good in 2017 too. Or you chalking that up to mickey mouse QBs also? -
Yeah that's what I'm saying, I would have probably tried to break that rule or find a way around it if possible

Taiwan Jones - Elite Gunner and now Captain

True it is the major reason. Although could also put the Defense as a part of being successful too. D was a big part in the 2017 playoff appearance. Then 2019 D was one of the top also. But yes I agree, Josh is the biggest for sure -
I don't know man. Player like him I would have had to do what it took to lock him in early way before it started to get to this. Too much of a game changer.
-
I can understand and agree. I know agreements have to be made on both sides and all that, but when you have a big time game changing player like that I would think you'd want to take care of everything early and have him locked in. I don't know what's up with that, but anyways...
-
Don't jinx it with that ***** lol
-
You're right, never know what can happen with these games. But if I'm a Steelers fan I'm a little worried how the different OL with rookie C is going to hold up. Think their LT is a rookie also right? Anyway, how they do up front will be a big factor.
-
Sure there is....Lol there's plenty of money to make you say yes. Hell, if the amount of $$ is high enough you might won't even care about the alcohol

I know this post isn't toward me, but just to clarify, I didn't go through thread and see you're reasons as to why you think that. Lol, tbh, I thought you were being sarcastic actually. My bad
