  1. Awesome! I hope I see him out tonight. "To big a job for any one man." Lol. Right on Bruce!
  2. Drunken storks lol. Boy, it was quite the drinking culture in the 50's!
  3. I know it's in bad taste to bump your own thread but does anyone else remember this from childhood?
  4. http://www.ulozto.net/live/xfTuQeb/08-goo-goo-goliath-avi
  5. One of my all-time 5 star favorites. Forever Yummy!!!!
  6. This POS mother was a teacher at the school. Shot her and the kids. This is horrific. Not only the parents but imagine the siblings of the little ones killed and wondering where their brother/sister is and when they're coming home. I'm sick.
  7. I'm numb. I Can't imagine what the parents are going through right now waiting to see if their kid is ok. Prayers to all.
  8. She's adorable. I found myself singing this at work today (didnt even realize I was doing it)and my hottie colleague said "are singing the 5 hr energy song?" "Why, yes I am." "You're so awesome" and squeezed my hand. Lol. Wow
  9. Lol. i remember his attempt at talking hockey. It was pathetic. I'll never forget Brian Holzinger had a show with Chuck. Everyone wanted to bar-b-q Holzinger for his lame effort trying to move Brett Hull in front of the net during No Goal. Chuck just gave him a pass. Really integrity there huh? Chuck did know football but you had to sit through all the obnoxious egotistical raving to get to it. Come to think of it, its been decades without a really good show. Last one I can think of was Murph's one on one sports in the late 80's/early 90's. Sad.
  10. This is without doubt fact. The NFL only allows two or so minutes and practice to be filmed before closing it. It was in this window that JJ observed Kelly practicing shovel passes. JJ thought it was odd because he never saw the Bills run it on any of the film he watched. The Bills noticed that Dallas he trouble with this play in a preseason game against Jacksonville and were hoping to exploit it. Everytime he mentions it to Kelly, Jimbo justs buries his head in his hands. JJ didn't cheat on that one. We were just idiots about it.
  11. Well, one episode left. A few things. One, the plot device of everything crumbling at once, is getting old. We all knew the Jax/Irish deal wouldn't come off clean but how about a little drama boys? You do have 90+ minutes to play with. Second, and this dovetails into the first point, Clay has to be immediately brought back into the fold, and privy to the moment by moment happenings of the club? Although this season is far better to lasts this plot device seems too contrived. On the plus side, Jax doping up Adriana (cant help but still call her that) was a great ending. The finale better be a show stopper.
  12. No Doubt Biscuit. The girl has heart!
  13. lol.thats hilarious and well done too. ahh, psychological trauma. always a good laugh!
  14. these girls rock!!!!!!! right on ladies
  15. What a fraud this guy is. Can you imagine, if you will, propelling yourself as the face of your teams' "fandom" and then turning tail and running? God knows as Bills fans, we've had our moments of doubt but not one of us would pull this kind of public tantrum. If he ever shows up at a Jets game, i hope they shove his head in a deep fryer.
  16. Maybe the closest to what you have in mind is some kind of hybrid 46
  17. I gotta ask Nanker and Gomper, are your screen names Rolling Stones references, or just coincidence? BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We finally have a winner!!!!!!!!!!! I've been on this board 9 years and you're the first to get it!!! Congrats for being a true Stones fan!!! As I'm sure you know it's off the Request album. Not their best work but I just love the song title
  18. Not to be rude but what are you on? Do you have access to some secret government lab experiment? I know it would take something like that to make ANYONE on GR entertaining. Think about what you wrote for a second. You ranked a sound effect as #3. That says plenty whether you intended it or not. For me, I stopped listening about a year ago and it seems nothing has changed (haven't had the misfortune of catching the hockey show but I remember Sylvester's show with Bob Gaughn and Puff. That was brutal, almost as bad as the dreaded "Bob and Ann" show.) There really isn't a person much less a show that is any good on the station. LBlue was so right on about lame comedy bits by unfunny people. Bulldog is a mystery as to how he has lasted so long. Howard was so boring to me. But, they have no competition therefore no incentive to try and up their game at all. It sounds like college radio. I travel for work and there are some really good stations in the same market size. So glad I stopped listening but it's a shame to hear how Murph has toned it down. When he was on WBEN his show was a must listen.
  19. Good thoughts all the way around. At this point, what is the harm of a brutally honest retrospective piece ( ala Richards "A Life")? The Taylor omissions are glaring to say the least because some of us consider his contribution to be part of the band's best work. Maybe the guys had little to say in the production of it (which I find hard to fathom) and it comes across as sort of the piece you'd see if they died in a plane crash. On the bright side, we'll always have this:
  20. Howard has been so over for so long. Sal, although informative, has zero personality. Less said about Bulldog the better.
