  1. Best: Van Morrison in SF. As soulful as you would think it would be and more. Famous for watching the clock, he cast aside his self imposed curfew and sang his heart out until late into the night. @ 2005-7 ish. Bugallo-Williams project 2007-Babeville in Bflo. Avant garde piano at its best. SRV- Darien 1989? w/ Jeff Beck. 4 hour bluesfest. Stevie was amazing, as you would imagine. Dixie Chicks 2016 (2 weeks ago) Buffalo- With apologies to the poster upthread, it was such a warm and beautiful show. Natalie sung like an angel. The girls can play too. Smiles everywhere. Johnny Cash-Melody Fair 1993. Brought June and the whole crew with him. Epic. Grateful Dead: 7/4/86, 3/29/90 (w/ Brandford), 3/21/90, 7/4/89, 3/19/90 etc....you get the picture. Brent kick that band in the ass before he OD'd. Spring 90 no one could touch them. Worst: CSN Darien 1994. Just awful but the get half a pass because Crosby had his liver transplant a few weeks later. Still.....they sucked.
  2. Lol. I was at the Northstar for the MNF game against Cleveland in 08. Great time. Owner was grilling dogs on the sidewalk and the Blue was cold. Awesome night...until the end. Had fun roaming North Beach after. Sunday will be couch day/night. Spent all week working on projects to get the place set for winter. She's happy. Slow cooked pot roast is on the menu. Neighbor said he'd stop by with some German sausage too. Win or lose... I'm a lucky guy.
  3. Belichick stays 10 steps ahead of Rex and out coaches him, again. Pats play superb D and ST, while ? under center slowly grinds the Bills D into dust. Pats 31 Bills 9
  4. The saturation point is well taken. I'm old enough to remember when you counted down the clock to 12:30 when the pregame show came on. Now you can start watching at 7am. Or maybe earlier. With all the $$$ to be had, it destroyed all the mystery of it. These days, if I have everything done. I just put FOX/CBS on at 12:40 only for the live look-ins to get the crowd energy. I make sure my fantasy team is set and turn up the volume when they are actually kicking the ball off. As a poster said, too many other things to do to blow up a whole day for. MNF is so bad, that sometimes I forget it's on.
  5. Oh, Graham was great. To me when AW is on his game, I think it gives the others more confidence. That was one confident, aggressive unit today.
  6. When AW is on his game, it seems to elevate the rest of the secondary. They were great today.
  7. Speaking of College Football, did I just see Stanford cover -3 on the last play of the game, up by 2? Lol
  8. Good God. Could you just imagine the Bills losing this one. Unfortunately, it can get worse....and will. Blow it up and start again.
  9. Belichick is amazing. Incredible preparation. Best ever. No question.
  10. Gee, sounds like Schoop. Mike can be a very hard listen, but he's right here.
  11. "Beverly Hillbillies" comment was worth the listen alone lol.
  12. 1990 AFC Championship. My most vivid memory was walking the concourse during the 2nd half with the game already decided. Hugging strangers as we all were stunned by the realization that the Bills were going to the SB. Yells of celebration and joy. The after party in Drive 2 was epic.
  13. Fwiw, Selvin just published a great book on Altamont.
  14. Not the biggest fan but Sully is right. Not only is Rex a disaster, he's a coward as well. Blow it up.
  15. Lol. They sing like angels too!
  16. Dixie chicks for me Saturday!
  17. They found Duke Williams lol
  18. Blame him or not. The organization needs to be cleaned out and start again. This is not working. That we can all agree on.
  19. BJ- You gotta admit, not a lot of people gave them a chance last night. He coached them into a position to win. Missed FG helps to be sure. You're right, one game is one game, but there is no denying he well prepared that team and was facing a very good football team.
  20. Tell me again how it's all Brady? Superbly coached team last night.
  21. Well, Bennett had 3 catches for 14 yards. Barnrigde 0 for 0. I guess I made the right decision lol
  22. Yes 3rd....you have work to do!
  23. Happy birthday Scott. Thanks for the site and all the joy it has brought myself and others. You rock! Hope the Bills give you a win as a nice present!
  24. Upper deck always. Have to watch the game develop .
  25. Old school. Pizza and wings from Tim and Bonnie's in Springville. Extra sauce, cheese, pep, banana peppers, lightly well done. Wings half hot, half charpit BBQ. Bills on ch4, GB/JAX as the go to game during timeouts, laptop open to fantasy team with another tab open to OAK/NO radio broadcast to listen to my favorite PBP guy, Greg Papa-Raiders. Yes, I'm a geek.
