I just destroyed some honest peasent food.
GF makes bone broth rice and I found some on the stove when I got home. Mixed in some Kerrygold butter and sea salt. Grilled some Cajun chicken on the Forman. Chopped a tomato. Mixed it all together adding some feta. Lightly topped it with Chivettas. Awesome!
No, I'm not high lol.

women flirt with you at wegmans???? don't take offense, but how old are you???? I could never see a 45+ year old flirting at wegmans...maybe i just have my head up my ass....i wish it would happen.
Lol I'm 46. Trust me that store is a goldmine if you're single.
Paging Dr. Gugny.
Time to wake up the gimp and revive the TBDisms thread.
Yes I did mean women have a "sick sense" not "sixth sense" lol

i stand by my oft stated opinion that you need to be comfortable being single before you can be successful in dating. I may go overboard with that opinion, but it works for me. If you are looking just for physical 'relationships' have at it all you want.
This. Unfortunately for me it took time to become comfortable being single. Women pick up on that. Dated some and I just could never find anyone remotely right.
I finally reached a point where I said to myself "f it. I was alone in my marriage and this is my fate, so be it." It's one thing to say that and quite another to mean it. I meant it.
Lo and behold, not even a day after that epiphany, it started to happen. Girls at work asking what I was doing afterwards, girls at Wegmans flirting with me, and so on. Women really have a sick sense about it. I was passed the point of caring. A few months later I met the woman I've been with for the last three years. You never know.

I can still find myself, my brother and my dad in our yellow rain slickers in that poster.
The loudest i can recall the stadium is when the Raiders had to call a timeout during the Bills' first drive in the '90 AFC Championship game.
This x1000. If there was ever a day the 12th man brought it, it was that Sunday. Weird though. The 1st half was louder than a jet engine. The 2nd half found a lot of us stumbling around, glasseyed and awe struck "Can you believe we're going to the Super Bowl?" The lot afterwards was a scene you wouldn't believe.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I'm with you on "F OJ" and all that. I just hope Mr Goldman doesn't waste the rest of his life focused on the (justifiable) hatred. Living on only hatred is not much of a life, I'd bet. Let your lawyers harass the hell out of OJ until the end of time. I'm not saying how I would react, and I certainly hope to never find out. I'm sure I'd hate forever, but hope I wouldn't obsess to the point it was the only focus in my life. My family wouldn't want that. I just hope Mr Goldman can find some peace. Otherwise, OJ has stolen even more lives.
Fair enough. I hear you.
-
No, not me. I'm not annoyed, but I feel very sorry for him because he not only lost a child, he lost much of his life after the murder obsessing about trying to get justice. I'd rather he move on and have some peace. I don't know the guy, so maybe he's done just that, but all you ever hear is him trying to get justice/revenge. Agreed, he can't bring his son back.
Really? If that ever happens to you come back and tell us you're singing the same tune. F OJ. I'm sure it won't be long until he does something else illegal. The women of Florida should leave the state.

They used quite a bit of old source material, so expecting the high fidelity that we grown accustomed to these days isn't very realistic.
That's not what I meant. In its effort to make it look like an NFL Network top 10, it comes off kind of shoddy looking. That's all.

Poorly researched
I agree. It's cheaply shot too.

He was unbelievable in Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Steve Somers here - you there
He did a 17 minute show leading into the Nets game this winter that trumped a 1000 hours of GR.
"Steve Somers here and you there for a 17 minute shmooze until the Nets lose at the top of the hour." lol

If you grew up within regular listening distance of NYC, then these guys were probably a big part of your sports life. They are not the most like able guys and can be aggravating at times. Francesca is wrong as often as he is right and he is an !@#$ to the listeners....that being said. When I stream WGR, it makes me appreciate what WFAN is. The morning show guys on WGR, couldn't work in the mail room at WFAN.
There are times where I really wonder, if either one of them has ever even watched a sporting event. The john Murphy show isn't any better. The guy is not only the #1 homer, but most of the guests are people that nobody cares about. It's a show about the Bills and he will interview the towel boy from the Miami Marlins about a Star Wars book.
To my knowledge it is the only station that I can stream where they talk bills, so before people say, "why listen?" there is no alternative. No matter how much Francesca bothers me, you can appreciate how professional he is when you listen to other guys around the state.
This x1000.
As grating as Mike has become, I'd rather listen to him contradict himself for 5 hours over anything GR has done, well, ever. His Super Bowl week m will be missed. Nothing can touch those annual five shows. GR is amateur hour from start to finish. We deserve better in this city. How Bulldog still has a job is totally amazing.

Always preferred. WFAN's Steve Somers since 1988 or so for the time I've tuned in by AM radio or the internet.
Totally agree. Steve is my all time favorite. As far as duos go, Mike and Dog. set the standard.

When the show was in a groove, no one else could touch it. They split at the right time.

Charlie Jones' best call, I think when the Bills scored to make it 35-31: "Ya gotta love it...unless you're in Houston!"
Am I mistaken or did TV stations in Buffalo and Rochester replay the game the following Friday night?
He was such a great PBP guy. He did the Cleveland playoff game too. I love his call on the Kelso tipped pass play.
-
If that's true they are both idiots who got what they deserved. And they should both be charged.
That's twice tonight we agree lol.
-
It's no mystery. They have the best game planning coach ever and one of the best QBs ever. And they only employ smart players who do what they're supposed to do on every play.
Hell, those guys could probably get me 3-4 receptions a game.
This. Completely agree. Anyone who thinks their success comes from illegal plays and favoritism might as well leave their heads in the sand.

It'll be hard to top last week and Chicanery but it will be interesting to watch them try. Should be great.

If your name isn't listed here you're having a good day.

The following people will soon be erased from the tax base
Lol. Well done.

"Guess who's not coming to dinner"

14 in cash. Wow. The strategy better be sound. It's either continental domination or an overreach of biblical proportions.

Well done CM! Hope I never need you but if I do, I know who I'm calling.

I like the character and so does my wife. I knew the basics of BB and details of some of the characters from here, but the show could almost stand on it's own and be good even without being tied to BB
As a huge BB fan, I've wondered what those new to the party think of the whole experience. It's impossible for me, as hard as I try, to view BCS as a stand alone experience. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate how well the show is crafted. It's just the reality of going through BB and knowing most of the characters. I'm glad you and your girl are enjoying it. It truly is the best show on.

"it's over"

This may be the strangest series I've ever seen. The mind numbing gaps in concentration on both sides must have the coaches pulling their collective hair out.

Such great sandwiches listed in this thread. Not fancy but salami on rye, no matter what else you put on it, is always a winner.
