After watching Allen and the Bills offense get beat up by two average defenses, I have serious doubts Allen is going to make it tbrough the season.

I was hoping the 1st down was going to be some sort of safe pass that they feel confident a veteran QB like Trubisky is comfortable making. I mean, there HAS TO be something Trubisky is comfortable with when throwing the ball, right? Houston was keying the run for obvious reasons. If the Bills don’t trust him to run something safe in a situation like that, why the hell is he even on the roster? We score a TD after getting the ball at the 15 we most likely win that game. Maybe this is small beans in the scheme of things but a safe pass for a completion would have probably caught Houston on their heels,

No, I think you can pass it. Passing should be on the table with a QB like Allen. But not having designed plays to Cook, Kincaid or Knox for short gains and YAC in those situations is down right criminal. I’ll argue those three are the best targets we had dressed today. Instead? Low-percentage passes were the name of the game.

I’m starting to wonder if I really want this group trying to fix the wide receiver room going forward. I’m leaning no. Allen is close to, if not already, on the second half of his career. You should only get so long to win a championship when you have a chip like Allen.

I’m not saying fire him right now but I am saying that he shouldn’t get a 3rd shot at hiring an offensive coordinator since Daboll left. Not when you have Josh Allen as your QB.

Knox isn’t hurt. If he was Morris, who is also a pretty decent TE, would be playing. Brady is clueless and the OP is correct. Beane and this coaching staff are not on the same page.

Where are either Kincaid or Knox? Does Brady know how to utilize either? For a first round pick and another that we have 14 million a year tied up in, you think if they insisted on passing the ball on that last series, a 5 or 7 yard pass targeted at one of those two may have been smart? Instead, low percentage passes up the field were in order when your QB was having trouble hitting the broad side of a barn.

And none of those three throws were targeted at either of our tight ends that we have a whole lot invested in. What are we exactly doing here? Between this crap and that trick play they tried to run last week. Atrocious play calling.

Josh Allen looked as bad as I’ve ever seen him. But he had company. The coaching staff didn’t have this team ready to play. You can’t expect to win games where you fall behind three scores on the road.

I get the injuries. I really do. But when you are playing as bad as the Bills are, offense, defense and special teams, and Josh Allen is your QB…..if it continues some hard decisions will need to be made a years end. How long do you get to kick at the can with Allen as your QB? One Conference title game appearance is a failure and the team is trending down.

Who though? What coach that is worth a damn would want to come to Buffalo? I’m willing to bet Ruff is as good as they could have got.

Our training staff received all kinds of kudos three years ago when the Bills went relatively unscathed with the exception of Tre White. They were being called the best staff in the league. Since then it has been a very rough go of it. Do they deserve criticism for how many injuries the team has had since they received applause when they were healthy?

I think he’s getting a little better with each passing week. The first week he wasn’t good at all.
