People would be wise to pump the brakes with Peterman. Not only is it pre-season, but how many points has he led the offense to?
The kid may look more comfortable than Taylor does but that really doesn't mean squat at this point. Don't let very pedestrian performances be the reason you point and yell he should be the starter.

I've seen this before. It may not turn out the same way but it reminds me an awful lot of Trent Edwards rookie pre-season.....only Edwards looked better.

After watching that a few times, 5 games seems a bit harsh to me. I doubt he did it maliciously and didn't expect the opposing player to fold like a house of cards.
Oh, he saw him and knew exactly what he was doing. He was Burfict's responsibility in that coverage.

I think he's losing the room, that's why I said that. You can't build winning culture until you win. I'm not defending Dareus, he's an absolute idiot.
When you have not one single game in the NFL - you walk a thin line being 100% hard a$$. You didn't keep it in house, you sent him home, to make a statement. If you lose the players will turn on you hard and it'll be over quick.
I think his lack of experience could cost him huge if he doesn't win. Right now we look terrible, except the run and he just made a fool out of one of our best run stoppers. I'm not saying he didn't deserve punishment but Sean, IMO, created a controversy he may soon live or die with. I'd rather he eased into the culture turnaround to be honest. I think it gives him the best chance to keep the team together. I'd rather one of my best players be late for a meeting than all these penalties.

Dareus just turned 27, a lot can change. Frontal lobe for the average male is still working on developing until the mid 20's. He might be delayed due to a rough road in life. Or....it may never happen, but we don't know yet.

Surprising number of cranky people posting here today. Some seem to be suffering a delusion that they are personally on the hook for MD's money.
I know it's hard for fanboys like you to understand but Dareus's salary and signing bonus effect the rest of the roster.

In a perfect world that would be nice. Dareus doesn't care whether the guy chewing his ass is a former Marine or not. In one ear and out the other.
